they're so desperate to boost sales ... even removed hullbreak off the CV90 105...people were complaining it's easy to kill and sales were running short
My favourite Centurion is The Atomic Tank. A Mk.3 that was left running in the field 320m from ground zero during a nuclear weapons test to see what would happen. After the boom they went back to it. The fabric covers were burnt off, the tank had been pushed sideways and the engine had only stopped because it ran out of fuel. The rads would undoubtedly have killed any crew that had been inside, but the recovery team could (and did) simply fill it with fuel and drive it away. After it was decontaminated, it was upgraded to a later model and went on to serve for a further 23 years, including 15 months with Australia in the Vietnam War. It still exists today at a barracks in Australia.

Actually, Sweden wanted to buy the Centurions but at first the British said no. All production was to go to their own forces. So Sweden started looking into the French AMX-13, which they quite liked as well but thought it was a bit lacking in armour (although the head of the armed forces loved it because he thought the Centurion was too heaving and expensive to run). But a few years later, suddenly, Britain changed their minds and offered to sell the Centurion to Sweden at a very affordable price. So, in almost a coup like fashion, the ÖB (Supreme commander of the military) and the Minister of defence made the decision to buy the Centurion tanks without consulting any of the other main military deciding organs. Suddenly the talks with the French about the purchase of 300-400 of the AMX-13 had to be hurriedly cancelled and the negotiating group had to go back from France. I think it's sad that they didn't include this tidbit of information. Especially since I'm not that good at translating and probably made it sound boring.

Yeah 6.7 to 7.7 is bloody expensive to play... 10k for cent 3, fv4202, vickers mbt, the conqueror costs up to 16,000 to repair, then you trow a cas plane into the mix and youre paying more than you make in one game

Also, impossible to pen over 500m anyway, other than in the turret. If you enjoy that pathetic crew sniping, sure, but, otherwise, KTs just stomp any competition, as usual with Germany tanks.

The South African Olifant proved to be shockingly effective in the 80's, during the latter stages of the Bush Wars. Probably my favorite variant of what is definitely my favorite MBT design. On a side note, I'd also love to see South Africa be added as a faction, due to its veritable menagerie of innovative light armored vehicles and modernized turbo-prop planes.

Then skipping over the T34-76 almost completely, and spending the last 2 minutes talking about T34s in export markets.
It'd be cool if they added the South African Centurion tank variants namely the Olifant MK.1A, MK.1B and MK.2. They all have 105mm guns but there are upgraded turrets that can be fitted with a 120mm gun and a new turret that looks like the Leopard 2A4 and Leopard 2A5 tanks. The Rooikats are a good start, looking forward to any of our other fighting vehicles 😁
Technically the FV4202 used the powerpack and transmission from the Centurion, therefore should have more power than it does in game (and a useful reverse gear)
You had plenty of time to start researching the Maus before it was removed. They literally gave a month advance notice all you had to do was play one battle while researching it and you could have unlocked it whenever. Find something else to cry about.

Why is the Centurion MK 10 at 7.3 in the British tree and the Strv 101 is at 7.7 in the Swedish tree in Arcade? Same exact vehicle and the only difference in shells is the British have access to HESH?

Fun facts ..... The glory achieved by centurion were not because of Brits but Indians in the battle of asal Uttar 150 centurion and some amx 13 defeated a huge battle group of 240 m47 and m48...... during the 1965 indo pak war...
My favourite variant has to be the centurion AVRE; my first time considering a premium tank and I was not disappointed! It does reward good tactical play with satisfying moments of enemy destruction after its long reload.
Warthunder should add some more Su series planes... there are lot of them... Su7, Su9, Su11, Su15, Su 17/Su20/Su22,Su24,Su25 They all are fitted for Br 6 to 10....
Can we posibly get an australian modified cent in the regular tech tree... it had some armor taken off to be more mobile and had a few other upgrades as well to help with jungle fighting. This would help get rid of the 2 to 1 ratio of cents in other trees and premiums to regular tech tree cents
Along with the weight reductuon the aussies also added extra road wheels to the front of the hull, many added spotlights to the turret and some even had plows attached like with the AVRE
nah, Swedish modifications are coolio, the up gunned mk 5 and 7 with remo era. The modified 102R up done to the 104 standard with a better engine, same as the shots engine, and the final Swedish attempt to keep it active the 105 modifying near most of the centurion long with a better ir sight, suspension the engine again and various other upgrades such as a better turret basket along with other stuff.
Those Swedish Centurions that was in service untill 2001 wasn't Strv 101's they where Strv 104's. The 104's had better armor, ERA, more modern shells and new engines and transmissions compared too the Strv 101.

I would love to see more British Cents in the tree (Mk5) and later models of the tank with ERA and APFSDS it would help fit the 7.0 - 8.7 gaps with Britain. But I have a strong feeling you wont even read this 😑
I prefer the British designs so far as I've recently gotten into the 7.0 rating. Such beautiful and effective tank ^_^ I DO look forward tonteying out the other variants once I snag the Centurion MK3 to go with my Actiom 10 qnd FV4202. I REALLY want the Sho't Kal Dalet, as it inpressed me in test mode.
I was disappointed with this video like many with its focus on Sweden's use of the Centurion. The one country which saw the most combat action in 3 wars and over 4 decades with subsequent variations is Israel. I like to see this video redone and add the Israelis, Australians and South Africans (who purchased their Centurion from Israel). These nations had real tank warfare and not Sweden. Thx
My favorite Centurion is the Centurion AVRE 'cuz I can use its dozer as extra armor on the front and while fighting on a bridge I can just push them to the water when I run out of ammo

Hesh can still be used in obscure cases (i.e rooftops/tracks) when apds or other non filler rounds don't work

fv4202 cost 12.5k SL on repair at pr6.7, basically u need to kill 3 tanks before u die to keep SL balanced

I was disappointed with this video like many with its focus on Sweden's use of the Centurion. The one country which saw the most combat action in 3 wars and over 4 decades with subsequent variations is Israel. I like to see this video redone and add the Israelis, Australians and South Africans (who purchased their Centurion from Israel). These nations had real tank warfare and not Sweden. Thx

My favorite Centurion is the Centurion AVRE 'cuz I can use its dozer as extra armor on the front and while fighting on a bridge I can just push them to the water when I run out of ammo
Anyone with a brain would agree the centurion family is the greatest tank to exist

@@KingSpittusFactus lol non of those tanks match to the combat record, sales, kill ratio, upgrades and variants, crew ergonomics reliability to the centurion. It's a tank that 1945 tank still going strong today
