White Bob was white, not a black guy pretending to be white. He really opened a lot of doors. Without these characters, I'm not sure the world would have been ready to accept a character like Madea.

Shows like Martin, and Living Single, allowed young black men and women to either dream of being like them when they grow up, or dream of finding someone like them when they grew up. . .
