Not sure who was yapping away in the chat, but there MIGHT possibly be a way to get a 1-SCU crate into the ship. Yeah, it's a 1-person elevator, but as you discovered, it's not the only ship entrance. Put the box on the elevator, send it up, then get in via the cockpit. 😛 No idea if the elevator will take a 1-SCU crate, but I sure hope so. Even if it's impractical for cargo, just being able to get a box in there for rations, ammo, med pens, etc. would be a very welcomed addition. Minor correction: you seem to have forgotten your jaunt over to urkl... they do have different missile loadouts. They both have 4x missile racks, but the Guardian racks have 4x-s2 missiles per rack whereas the Qi has 2x-s3 missiles... or that might be reversed, point is, they are different in that way. 😛 Performance doesn't translate to military. Remember, the Freelancer also has a MIS varient that is obviously a mini missile boat, it makes sense for its bigger sister to also have a combat varient, but combat doesn't have to translate to military either. The Advocacy and local law enforcement and private mercs would also want a ship like this. I think I have a new favorite fighter. The only thing that could make this ship any better would be if they added some Intrepid-style sneaky cargo racks in there somewhere, or give the Guardian an EMP... then the choice is loadouts where one can EMP or the other can QED. At least then having 2 would make a little more sense.

The Glaive also has 2x s5 and gets about 5-6 shots b4 recharge/reload

The guns being on the main body protect them more from being shot off.
The QI is slightly slower and less agile than the base Guardian.
