The big Strom I can think of is derecho that went through iowa back in 2019 2020.

I was one of the people that found you a year ago today. I never thought I’d be so grateful for a fella that I happened to stumble upon on UA-cam in a time of crisis when our power went out. You notified everyone on your channel that a tornado was fixin’ to rip through our little town in Central IL while our local channels didn’t even have a watch or a warning out. Because of this channel, I had 7 minutes to notify my parents (that live a few miles down the road) & get myself & my kids to safety in their basement. The daycare in town was completely destroyed & the tornado stopped less than a quarter mile before it would have hit our house that we were sitting in when I found you. Since that day, myself, friends, & family are all supporters of this channel. Thank you so much to the Y’all Squad for all that y’all do! My family is forever grateful! 💯❤️
I am so glad you and your family made out safely.
I watch from the UK and this channel gives me a 'slightly' earlier warning.. a few days to a week .. of how the weather is likely to be in the UK.
Also brilliant presentation and then there is the service on the ground that Y'all does.
I did wonder if there is a YT channel that report's the weather in the Pacific to help with early weather modelling for the USA.. or even looking at the actual northern hemisphere.
If I may say.. with all the tornados the USA has why are houses not designed to resist them.. some houses in Europe are actually made of poured concrete, even the roof.. all that would need to be added is steel shutters on the windows and doors... also stays cool in summer and stable in winter, aircreet would also help with insulation.
@@mySeaPrince_ I am a big fan of concrete construction and the versatility of concrete in all kinds of applications, but I believe the reason is largely related to material conditions of North America, and more specifically, cost and convenience of raw materials. North America has an abundance of timber, unlike Europe which Western and much of central Europe had already harvested much of their unprotected timberland centuries ago. So in North America, since Europeans first began colonizing it, timber construction (especially of fast-growing pine) has been cheaper than all other types of construction materials. It is especially so in the age of mass-produced everything, up to and including houses, and since poverty is rife in many of these regions, so are manufactured homes. These are typically constructed of timber framing and sheet metal or asphalt tile roofs, vinyl siding, etc and may or may not be on a permanent poured foundation, and the quality of construction is generally no better than ugly subdivision copycat "mcmansions" and very often can be much worse.
@mySeaPrince_ One time a young man that also does weather coverage N8 Snyder went live on YT in Europe, can't remember where ( would have to look at his past videos ) But we were amazed how the houses stood up to the wind / storms. It was about 12 hours long ,he then moved to the states as we started having bad weather.
@@ennui7778
Thank you.
I've seen a few YT channels building houses in the USA.. usually includes some variety of heavy duty nail gun.
I've built actual Oak timber frame houses, some Tudor style also cruck frame 1580 ish and Bronze (my favourite and fairly storm proof as the roof is so heavy) and Iron age roundhouses... a personal project was a Mesolithic home which is slightly larger than a native American teepee but made of trees and thatched and turfed.
What about serious heavy log cabins that are really fixed together..
There's also the possibility of then covering it in soil and turf.
In the UK there are some homes built into hills, not many though.
Hope you see my other comment in this thread.
Everyone get prepared now. Incase of tornadoes 🌪 we don't want to lose one life. ❤
Blah blah
I guess if you live where they happen. Not by the mountains. Snow here

Ryan, thank you for being so gifted in your craft. Meteorology is not easy and there is so much you have to know. You make it look so easy, which it isn't. The love you have for weather, helps so many people and saves so many lives. God bless you and your family, have a great Easter, and enjoy your day!
Straight facts
Awe his craft. How special. What is this Harry Potters wizard weather report.
That time of year, Folks!!! I'll never forget this day, last year. I'm up in Canada, but I've never seen more stunning Tornado Coverage. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled on the weather for some USA Friends. Don't be scared, be prepared!!!
Happy ressurection day everyone

Love your weather. Far better than even our locals. Kudos to you Ryan. You are the best!
Today is the one year anniversary of a deadly EF3 tornado that tore it's way through my county here in Illinois and the next county over in Indiana across the Wabash river. 6 people died, 3 in each county and many homes, our local airport and so much more were lost. One of the buildings belonging to the college where I work was completely destroyed and a young man who worked for me and lived across the road from the college building lost his home. Praying we won't see a replay of that or anything like it this year or ever again. The Ryan Hall y'all channel was a big help to me that night right up till we lost power and Internet service.
Same here for Swayzee, IN ef2 many homes destroyed amazing enough we didn’t lose anyone
That Tornado was half a mile fron my home. Our neighbors are still not in their rebuild yet.Lucky to have lived through it.
@@melbakayclark8337 my parents just now have gotten their back porch and cement finished
Same for Wynne, Arkansas. God bless all y'all......❤️
F3...not EF
I’ve said this before, but I had James Spann as my meteorologist my entire life. I didn’t realize what I had until I moved to Shreveport last year. You’re the only meteorologist I’ve found that performs at such a high level, and delivers critical information while also educating and showing compassion.
It may seem like small factors on your end, but I’ll be damned if it doesn’t make a world of difference on mine. Appreciate what you and the team do.
James watches Ryan😊
What?! I’ve lived in “James Spann” territory my whole life, too, but might be moving across country soon…nervous about mediocre meteorologists.😬

This time of year I’m always looking at the Forecast because in the Deep South it always has something going on that makes you Worry.
Odd, that this is very close to the 50th anniversary of the super outbreak in 1974.
Thanks, Ryan, always appreciate it! 😊😊
That was such a crazy night! I was in N. Alabama and it was downright scary.
I was nine. I remember and it was terrifying. We piled in the car and drove to Monticello because my mom couldn't get hold of my brothers. Trees down everywhere. We were stopped by the National Guard and Mom had to explain to them why we were there. They let us pass. Both my brothers were safe, praise God ❤
I live in Xenia Ohio they had a F5 in 1974 April 3 when that super tornado out break happened I was born 1975 but we have seen many since! Xenia is called devil winds
Louisville KY here, now in Brandenburg KY it was torn to pieces that day,

First Easter for Baby Otto❤ Happy Day!

Happy Easter to you, as well! ✝️
Tornados are very rare where I live, in the mid-Ohio River Valley. A combination of the rough, mountainous terrain and thick forestation, prevents a tornado from lasting long. We did have thunderstorms come through this area last evening. We were under a tornado warning because there was some rotation. Thankfully, it didn't come to fruition. We will certainly be watching to see what comes our way on Tuesday evening. Thanks, Ryan, for all you do.
Yes, we are in ohio valley too and storms often fall apart or go around us
Happy resurrection day y'all!🌱🌾
thank you for all you do!
I'll be in central Ohio on Tuesday. Keep weather aware folks. Saturdays hail core was intense. Who else experienced it.
If you mean the hail in central Ohio on Saturday, I got caught in it while running outside! That was an unpleasant, painful experience 😅
We missed the worst of it. There was a funnel cloud spotted 3, or 4 miles away from home... again lol. So this storm is making me nervous
You’re right, I did find your channel when we had tornadoes this time last year come through southern Illinois
Have no fear! Cast your anxiety on Him, for He cares!

Happy Easter….
Prayers for everyone in this path…..
Ugh. Now my paranoia is going to be really bad today and tonight. Because my anxiety is going to be high and I plan to prepare to the best of my ability. I am still scared though. Because I am in that path for the severe storms. So are a lot of people that I love and care about.
I totally feel you.. I am a claims adjusters assistant and I listen to storm stories constantly and it's made me have that same paranoia 😢
