Do you have the Louis Vuitton Alma bb neo or Alma bb in damier eben? It has been 1 month since I purchased the bag and I am so in love with the bag *internally screams*!!

Hey! I know this might be an older video, but the lock is supposed to be put through the holes in the zipper when they are lined up! It's pretty sturdy and you don't have to worry about them scratching!
The lock on mine has stayed where it came when it was purchased and it scratched up the zipper hardware AND the lock really bad ☹️

I own Mahina leather , epi leather and emperiente. The epi is the hardiest and needing the least amount of baby-ing. Having said that it can also scratch so you do still need to be a bit careful. At the end of the day the canvas versions like Damier Ebene and even the monogram with vachetta are probably the most durable. The Ebene Damier will not water stain if you walk in the rain, whereas with all the others you can’t. Plus the damier eben is an emblamatic LV design, their very first. So it’s a classic.
I have this bag too. I still love it and I think it’s a good buy. My first intention was to use this as a everyday bag but I found it too dressy for wardrobe and I have to be baby it a little since it’s still leather. I prefer canvas bags as my everyday more.
I love it but it is very dressy. I think the next one I get will be a monogram Dauphine!

I would say yes if it is placed on the bottom of the bag. I think it would be difficult if you placed it on top of items closer to the top BUT on the bottom it should be ok :)
I have it in black epi leather and is one of my most used Bags !

I thought so as well.. Especially since I went into the store and saw them selling a pendant with the same "lock" for around 500$... As long as you have a decent chain it looks nice :)

The corners are ok. I do think you have to be gentle with the bag but if you handle it with care it should be fine. The leather from LV is quite amazing n my opinion

Beautiful bag😍 , but I have concern about the corner at the bottom of a bag, it’s not gonna be break or any damage ?
None at all! It is still in amazing condition. It even rained/snowed on the bag a few days ago and there is no wear/tear on it.

this bag is on my Wishlist! I just don’t know if I want to buy the sac de jour nano in crocodile embossed matte leather in black or the Neo alma bb in empreinte leather. I love the fact that the strap is a bit thicker on the Neo alma bb empreinte leather compared to the other styles!
That is a hard choice! It depends on the other bags/designers you have in your closet. I have so much Louis in my closet that I wish I would branch out and try a new brand

To me that burnt orange interior is everything! It’s what stands out most about that bag…I’m surprised that for a leather piece the strap is not adjustable?
Nope... I was just as shocked as you. I do think an adjustable strap should be a minimum for an all leather bag.
The interior is literally my favorite part about this bag 🤩
I sold my alma bb monogram which still makes me think if i did the right thing, i miss it every time i see this photo of mine with it sitting next to me 😆😆... this empreinte would be a lovely replacement, eyeing it for a while now ❤
It is a wonderful bag. It is not as appreciated as it needs to be in my collection. It really is sexy and beautiful but I do not use it to it's full potential
Beautiful bag. I have it in the Creme. Love it. Dressy, small enough to hand carry but big enough to fit quite a few daily essentials (fits more than the canvas version as the leather is more pliable). I have a little review of mine on my channel.

Can you wear this in the rain
If I got caught in the rain.... I would not have too much fear of the bag ruining (granted I would not go out extra in the rain without an umbrella with this bag). I would make sure the bag was dry once I was inside and wipe it off. The empreinte leather is so durable and this is black- so you won't have to worry too much about color transfer
