We saw quite a few waterfalls in Maui, including all these ones. Such a beautiful place. I agree with you that those narrow roads are horribly stressful.

Wonderful tour of Maui! Very informative and beautiful! I loved seeing the variety of beaches and waterfalls! It would be so amazing to see the humpback whales and sea turtles, plus all the other natural wonders. Since we live in a cooler climate, I would love to relax in the warm weather and swim in the ocean, on the calm beaches!! The jumbo waves are very impressive… but I’m not sure I’d want to get too close. I’m even more impressed now by the fearlessness of the surfers and their skill in surfing those waves! If you’re going to drive to the blowhole and to Kahakuloa you should only drive clockwise from Kāʻanapali. The safest way to see everything is to just drive all the way to Wailuku. You can then go to Iao Valley and have a picnic lunch. You should return going back around West Maui mountains. Never drive back the same way you came because you will be on the outside lane next to all the drop offs. It is scary. Best to stay on the inside lane and just make a circle. Make sure to stop at Lorraine’s Shave Ice in Kahakuloa. She is a sweetheart. She also makes great banana bread.

I love Hawaii and I haven't been there since 2017, so I thoroughly enjoyed this video! I have only been to Maui once, but I loved it when we were there. Love seeing the whales, the surfing, the waterfalls, the road to Hana and the Haleakala volcano. We I was in Maui we went up to Haleakala for sunrise! It was chilly up at the top before the sun rose. But the view was spectacular. If I don't communicate with you before Christmas, I hope you have a wonderful Holiday season with your family and friends. ~ Anita

Maui is so beautiful! We are just starting to plan a trip to Hawaii for a big upcoming anniversary in 2024. Can't wait to see some of these highlights in person. The beaches and mountains and caves and waterfalls here all look so beautiful. Some of those roads do look intimidating though. I love the look of the landscape around the volcano. It really does look like a lunar landscape. Thanks for sharing this beautiful island with us. I took notes to keep track of places we want to check out in the area when we finally get there in a little over a year!

Wishing I was in Maui right about now! We have had such bad luck with trips these last few years, I had to switch my channel's focus as I was fresh out of content ideas. Maybe one day I'll get to fly somewhere again, but I won't hold my breath.
I wish I was in Maui too! We are hoping to travel to Europe next year for first time since 2019. We just flew back from Halifax visiting our son - and we had 2 return flights cancelled, staying 5 days longer than planned. I hope our trips in 2023 will be better 😀. If you’re going to drive to the blowhole and to Kahakuloa you should only drive clockwise from Kāʻanapali. The safest way to see everything is to just drive all the way to Wailuku. You can then go to Iao Valley and have a picnic lunch. You should return going back around West Maui mountains. Never drive back the same way you came because you will be on the outside lane next to all the drop offs. It is scary. Best to stay on the inside lane and just make a circle. Make sure to stop at Lorraine’s Shave Ice in
Kahakuloa. She is a sweetheart. She also makes great banana bread.

Thanks for the detailed video of Maui. Of the 27 sights you mentioned, we covered about 8 of them on our last trip in 2014 and one of them was Kahekili Highway. I love Hawaii and I haven't been there since 2017, so I thoroughly enjoyed this video! I have only been to Maui once, but I loved it when we were there. Love seeing the whales, the surfing, the waterfalls, the road to Hana and the Haleakala volcano. We I was in Maui we went up to Haleakala for sunrise! It was chilly up at the top before the sun rose. But the view was spectacular. If I don't communicate with you before Christmas, I hope you have a wonderful Holiday season with your family and friends. ~ Anita

Maui is so beautiful! We are just starting to plan a trip to Hawaii for a big upcoming anniversary in 2024. Can't wait to see some of these highlights in person. The beaches and mountains and caves and waterfalls here all look so beautiful. Some of those roads do look intimidating though. I love the look of the landscape around the volcano. It really does look like a lunar landscape. Thanks for sharing this beautiful island with us. I took notes to keep track of places we want to check out in the area when we finally get there in a little over a year!

Wishing I was in Maui right about now! We have had such bad luck with trips these last few years, I had to switch my channel's focus as I was fresh out of content ideas. Maybe one day I'll get to fly somewhere again, but I won't hold my breath.
I wish I was in Maui too! We are hoping to travel to Europe next year for first time since 2019. We just flew back from Halifax visiting our son - and we had 2 return flights cancelled, staying 5 days longer than planned. I hope our trips in 2023 will be better 😀.
