Great review Chris. Thanks. Very nice piece. I passed on this one in lieu of the new Batman and Catwoman Diorama. Yes, the one that looks like they're at the prom posing for the picture. But congrats to those collectors that are picking this up.
I know very highend collector's claim that SS is not for collector's anymore because of the big ES and lower quality compared to others but that is how they keep those low prices. I also like that they do pieces that look very close to comics with their own modern spin. But what I like the most is how they respect my display space. The biggest SS bases are standard for XM and that is one of the things I don't like about XM. Not all of us have an entire house size basement like Chris for our collectibles.🤦🤷♂️
This portrait might be the most gorgeous makeup job on any Sideshow female piece. It's stunning. I like the gargoyle Catwoman better, but she's my favorite character so I'll collect multiple statues of her.
This Sideshow Catwoman sculpt looks great. It has what everyone expects of Catwoman. The sensual aspect along with her flirty type of vibe as she shows off what she's just scored in the burglary. Yes the Gem does look cheaply made but that is not what bothered me. I would have loved to have seen that cat instead of snuggling on her leg, standing on it's hind legs with one paw touching her leg while the other stretched out in the air. As if it is playfully trying to get the jewelry or Batman's cual. They could have even made two cats. One being playful and the other snuggling. Anyway that to me would have made this piece a 10/10. Still it is a great looking sculpt and am hoping that the base is 1/3 of other two bases that will contain poison Ivy and Harley Quinn. Hopefully it will happen.

I prefer the previous one personally. This one is more animated film than comics. I predo the realization of the other also, the more elaborate outfit, the base, the more realistic body, the pose and even the face. After the style of the two is very very different, it is normal that opinions are divided

Its got some nice things about it, the face is excellent! One thing ill say is that I don’t see the same value proposition here as i do with Catwoman on Gargoyle/Black Canary. I see more in the $450 range. But its also a different economy than when those were released.
Looks like the jewel is the Curse of this piece ! I thought it was going to be a real chain and a shiny, glass gem at the end to complement her shiny outfit. She's holding it out 'look what I just stole', darling.....you can keep it !
Nice review! I just skipped this one because of few things on it what i don't like, the base: very small and simple, but this wasn't the most important thing, as You said the statue have some parts with very cheap plastic look, the boots: i don't like the boots at all (her boots and clothes seem to be ironed together), but the shape of her leg is ok, and i can say the pose is ok too but nothing special so i'll stay with my Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman statue (in my opinion it is the best out there) and the preveious sideshow Catwoman with gargoye base, this two piece was a "Love at first sight" =) when i saw them, really well made pieces!

SOOO many great Catwoman statues currently out right now, it's super hard to decide which one I want 😖... For now I'm thinking of preordering the Batman and Catwoman Diorama since you really can't beat getting 2 characters for the price of one and they both look great.

This isn't bad by any means but the previous SS Catwoman on gargoyle in my opinion is far superior. It showcases her agility, feline and feminine qualities superbly. This one is just ok with a few minor flaws. The only flaw the Catwoman on Gargoyle has is they slightly over did the grey weathering on her costume so she looks a little too grey overall instead of the black she's suppose to be. They fixed that very minor flaw in this one but unfortunately introduced a few extra ones at the same time. If your in the market for 1/4th Catwoman try to pick up SS premium format Catwoman on Gargoyle. It's a great piece. It also has some easter eggs on her backpack which is cool. It also has a portrait switchout for the EX although in my opinion the EX isn't a make or break like some believe.
Great video, great statue! I think one of the statues in the run should have an actual valuable jewel in there, maybe 1K worth. That would maybe create some more buzz.
We need other characters within the Batman Universe. Oversaturation of Batman and Marvel. Id give anything for a Raven or even a live action Dove from TITANS.
I love this piece the first time you talked about it pre-ordered it and paid it off looking forward to adding it to my collection I get where you're coming from when it comes to the jewel they could have used Rhymes Stone and place in there to give a better look then painted but besides that I love the statue on the sexy Ness of Catwoman

Q. Why sell the 1/4 scale Sideshow Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman and pick up the Catwoman in the video above, which looks nowhere near as good. I think you will sell this statue in the not too distant future.
