The invul storm bolt dodge from an invisible mountain king on echo isles might be the greatest play I've seen all year.

I’m sure it’s been suggested many times, but could there be like 30 mins of “dead time” added to the end of the casts, particularly epic tournament finals like this one, and semis like happy’s series? It seems tedious but for the excitement of viewers watching the vod later, it takes some of the suspense out of the series knowing one person is up 3-1 and there’s only 15-20 minutes left. It isn’t really an issue, the games are still unbelievable!
I wouldn't mind hearing what Lyn said after the game if there is a short interview.

Dead time is HORRENDOUS on the YT algorithm. I too would absolutely love extended videos to avoid spoilers, but unfortunately thats a very bad business decision.

I have to say, Forti figured out how to play happy on and off, he hasn't figured out Lyn yet. The second game looked close, but in reality 1 gold mine vs 2 loses the majority of the time.

I've said it before that I believe that, pound-for-pound, Lyn is the greatest WC3 player of all times, held bad by the fact that he plays the most restrictive and reactive race in WC3(Orc cannot come up with many innovative openings and strats because it must react to what opponent is doing.). CComing from an OG like myself that has been watching pro WC3 since 2005, this statement carries weight.
But what we saw in this tournament is simply ridiculous. I am starting to question if Lyn is actually a Human Being or a completely different species. He dodged Hammer Throw not once but two times. Then, he timed the invul potion to match just the exact time of invisibility to kill MK. That was beyond ridiculous. Who the FK does this in real time? Just stop it, dude. It's actually gross at this point. Lyn treated a high-tier 2,550 MMR Grandmaster like Forti like he didn't even belong there with him. The gap in skill is so big that Lyn was flexing on Fortitude. Who flexes on a 2,550 tier-A Grandmaster like this?
What makes Lyn so special is that he combines the best precisions and timing ever(yes, better than even Happy's) with being a true RTS player. Lyn is a true RTS player. It's often said that Orc players are the kind of people that prefer playing DOTA over RTS, because so much of Orc's game play revolves around it's heroes. But Lyn combines his god-like precision and timing with a macro ability that is outstanding. Lyn has a 6th sense when it comes to knowing when to attack and to retreat, when to expand and when to stay in one base, where he and his opponent are in the map at all times, and extraordinary skill in managing his resources. Lyn's macro is the 2nd best ever after Infi's. Lyn could be a top player in SC2. Lyn is also creative, but because of the reactive nature of Orc, he expresses his creativity only in pre-planned builds.
All the S-tier pros in the history of the game, Moon, Lyn, Happy and Infi are all really good at everything and don't have any weak spots. But what makes Lyn so special is that not only is he the best timing&execution player of all times, but he combined that with a macro ability surpassed only by Infi, and a creativity surpassed only by Moon. Lyn is just a very, very special player.
You say you watch the game since 2005 and don't mention Grubby and Life in S-tier players of history? Strange. Also, what Lyn did in this game, Happy has been doing for a long time. No one dominated this game for so long like Happy did in last 5 years and Lyn is far from having same overall statistics as Happy in the game. Lyn is a WC3 God, but he is still Top2, below Happy.
@@cadukizzi It's not strage at all. Grubby is a 2 time WCg winner and the most iconic Western WC3 player ever, but he never reached the skill level of Lyn, Happy, Infi and Moon.
Also, I think it's funny that you bring up Grubby, the most generic name imaginable, to try to prove that I haven't been watching WC3 since 2005. You should have brought up names like Zacard, or MadFrog, Sky, ReMind, Creolophus, Insomnia, Susiria, Lucifer, Thorzain, Lucifron, etc, as examples of names I didn't mention to "prove" that I haven't been watching Wc3 since 2005.
As for Happy, your narrative is completely wrong. Happy has been dominant only since late 2020/2121. He won WGL in Summer 2019, but then he lost his title to Lyn at WGL Winter, and then in early 2020, he had the series Vs Infi where Infi spanked him and beat him 3-0 at the Huya Super League. Even in 2020, he was still being challenged. He only became the consensus @1 player at Raraland in 2021.
@@PeteCrawfordCrawford Sorry, by Life I meant Sky. Most of these players you mentioned were A-tier at best, with the exception of Grubby and Sky, but that is a matter of opinion. Madfrog's game style is influential to this day, but he won nothing. Grubby also won an ESWC and was the orc king long before Lyn and until his retirement. Happy lost a series to Infi, so what? He made to grand finals in both 2019 WGL and by that time his statistics were reaching the roof already. Now even if what you say was true and Happy did start his dominance in 2021, tell me another player who dominated this game for 4 years? Maybe Moon, but definetly not Lyn.

Tbh both of you guys raise good points, but top player is pretty subjective. I think it's a toss up between Moon, Lyn and Happy for GOAT, though I lean towards Moon.
Happy = Nadal. Unbreakable, out-manuevres opponents and arguably the most mechanical strength.
Lyn = Djokovic. Near perfect execution, strong resolve, great mix of talent and decision-making.
Moon = Federer. Has the most weaknesses, but playing at his peak is art. In his prime, unrivalled creativity and elegance.

@@giantenemycrab420 Mountain King is invisible, so Lyn cannot see. Then MK throws a storm bolt at TC, from right next to him, which leaves only a very small window to activate the invulnerability potion before the bolt hits.
Given MK wasn't visible and there was extremely little time to react, this is very well done by Lyn.

Incredible series. Love watching Lyn play. It's unfortunate that Forti seems to have a real issue closing out tournaments. Those first 2 games were laden with mental mistakes.
Lyn plays the true orc style with raids on the village, pillage and stuff. It's like watching a movie

Why forti doesn't go MK First in every game?
Like a few clips ago, I said that only orcs can fight fair with humans. Humans at the end of generation 3 are the strongest in all armies. If you want to win, you can only fight quickly against generation 3. Orcs are a good choice. UD's army is only strong in the early and mid game and lacks mobility, so happy's continuous failure is not a decline in performance. is choosing an army :)

Lyn always plays well, but this was a whole 'nother level. This might be the first grand final with the highest level of play that does NOT involve Happy.

Awesome play by Lyn. By the way watching these matchups, make me think what did blizzard wanted to achieve with hh nerf, they are really jot a problem. The only complain I can think from a human perspective is orc's ability to do a lot of damage with hit and run tactics in this matchup. And if we thini that is a problem, then a nerf to cl, shockwave or raiders would make kore sense.

if you are a god at tennis, chess, or any sport, you will always be a god as long as you keep it up.
in most Esports balancing exists, if u are a god at any game, developers interpret it as "not balanced" and will nerf the god.
Those are just mirrors games, balance in Warcraft is much more complicated since it has 4 races (6 different match ups to balance in one game)
