Both looks great. Nice and clean and spacious. Hope they are all like these on the Camino France.
Much fancier than any I've stayed in.
Ummmm, you’ve shown only one new municipal Albergue and one private Albergue. They all vary widely… Suggest you rename this video to say how does 1 private and 1 public Albergue compare. As I said, they vary widely from place to place. Thx for showing these 2 places.
At the end of the day it doesn't matter. I stayed at the municipals and I stayed in private ones. I looked for clean and quiet first, extras like washing machine and breakfast second. It's really no less authentic staying private like I first thought. They're generally smaller rooms, newer decor, nicer beds, more electric plugs however more expensive but really rarely ever more than 15 EUR at least in my experience on the Frances in 2018.
yes, I totally agree with you! In the beginning, we always tried to stay in public albergues and adjusted our stages to that but now we just walk the most suitable distances and stay in the places we like.
@@StingyNomads Ok sounds good but to arrive worn out from the trek to then look for a place to clean up and lay your head? Aren't these places usually full?
If I want to stay only in private albergue's while hiking the Camino should I try and book in advance, or would I be able to find them as I go - planning on hiking about 5 days in June. Thanks.
buen camino
