Yea eastenders seem to be just copying ideas from previous storylines and giving them to new characters with the odd tweak here and their or bringing back old characters hoping to get people back rather than coming up with something original, and every new character has to have some sort of dark past or is weird af no one is just a normal person, they're either stalkers, criminals, wife beaters, absent parents, never just someone looking to start a new business for example and because everyone is such an extreme character then it becomes the norm so sometimes having those normal characters is good for making the more exciting ones stand out more

The characters are ditzy aren’t they? People laugh when they don’t understand. I believe there are people exactly like those girls in real life. It’s not a laughing matter but it’s a true representation of the way the world is.
I'm the same. It's just the first impression. But I think they'll become favourites and likeable. They just have a gob but I think George's kids are good people at heart.

NOW Nish is gonna be quivering in his shoes, YES, sir

This episode was so insensitive, in fairness George, Anna and even Elaine have gone up in my estimations since then however it just wasn't right bringing them into it the first episode after Lola had died and plus the way Gina and Anna both acted in the pub, the cafe and towards Ollie was horrible. They should have used this episode to moarn the passing of Lola and then introduce them the following week
