Yeah Brain … That’s the problem with your reverse DCF tool … Not just yours … nobody pays much attention to the terminal growth rate … while you’re busy reverse calculating 20-30% growth near term then suddenly reverting to 2-3% at some arbitrary point in time it really makes no sense … try graphing your assumptions and it becomes obvious what the issue is … and if you check your valuation you’ll see most of it actually comes from the terminal value
11:27 When doing the reverse discounted cash flow you said the output implies a 27% revenue growth, should this be free cash flow growth or am i mistaken?
He optimized cash flow so he could solve for revenue growth. He estimated the company could make 30% cash flow margins which it doesn’t so he could solve for how much revenue needs to grow.
Funny that you have done a bunch of videos on many of my top holdings. ISRG is probably number 6 or 7, and I only hold 25 holdings (trying to narrow them down though). Really enjoying your content
Very interesting view. Thank you. I am a happy ISRG owner for 20years. I did not sell when it was recommended this time. And I am glad I didn't. The only thing I really fear is some sort of a major lawsuit. Other than that is one of the more stable positions in my portfolio.
How do you feel about that CFI financial course, have you ever reviewed it? It’s not the CFA but I’ve done some of the free practice courses and they are quite educational.
I work at a public hospital in Spain, in one of the lesser populated regions.just now, the IT boss, the hospital boss (a surgeon) and the procurement boss are talking about the incoming Da Vinci machines. Upwards and rightwards.
As David Gardner says, let your winners run.

Wow -- thanks for the love!

Unknown stonks is correct
Brian you really seem to know and understand this company, I can tell you are really convinced this is a strong business.
Great analysis on performance and its business model. Thanks.

Anyone care to post a readers digest version in summary about why to hold for those of us who are stock challenged?
Would be great to hear your thoughts on Boeing, Palantir. Regarding Intuitive Sugical… do they have any real competitors?
Medtronic and j&J wanted to compete but not sure if they have a product out there now. I am sure Brian can comment

Do you think this has any effect or read through on TMDX?
How would it? No way.
Both are top dogs. Do completely different things.
I don't think you made a mistake. When everyone is buying is a good time to sell likewise when everyone is selling is a good time to buy.
Every time this stock shows up on my screener I get sticker shocked 😂

Great stuff! Thanks for these videos and your insight and transparency
