Batman: Arkham Knight is a 2015 action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Based on the DC Comics superhero Batman, it is the successor to the 2013 video game Batman: Arkham Origins, and the fourth main installment in the Batman: Arkham series. Written by Sefton Hill, Ian Ball and Martin Lancaster, Arkham Knight is inspired by the long-running comic book mythos. Set nine months after the events of 2011's Batman: Arkham City, the game's main storyline follows Batman as he confronts Scarecrow, who has launched an attack on Gotham City, causing a citywide evacuation. Scarecrow, with the help of the mysterious Arkham Knight, is also able to unite Batman's greatest foes in an attempt to finally destroy Batman.
The game is presented from a third-person perspective, with a primary focus on Batman's melee combat, stealth abilities, detective skills, and gadgets. Batman can freely move around the open world of Gotham City, interacting with characters and undertaking missions, and unlocking new areas by progressing through the main story or obtaining new equipment. The player is able to complete side missions away from the main story to unlock additional content and collectible items. Combat focuses on chaining attacks together against numerous foes while avoiding damage, while stealth allows Batman to conceal himself around an area, using gadgets and the environment to silently eliminate enemies. Arkham Knight introduces the Batmobile as a playable vehicle, which is used for transportation, puzzle solving and combat.

@@jeryro1642 If you fire an unsuppressed shot inside a building, that noise will be louder than some alarm, plus its done multiple times, not to mention the muzzle flash from the escaping heat. Sorry but that alarm isn't louder than multiple gunshots and these goons were even holding guns themselves but not even that would make you think it's some kind of friendly fire incident.
Man the game's already rated M. They should've went all out with Jason's combat

I'm guessing the models of enemies weren't made with dismemberment and gore in mind since, you know, you mostly play as Batman who doesn't do that, so adding such a system to the game only for essentially one character to use it would be way too time consuming for very little effect.
Tho I guess one easy way they could add something cool is if a simple texture of a bullet hole appeared on enemies bodies after you shot them, tho idk if that's already in the game or not, I haven't played arkham knight in quite a while.
They didn't know it would be rated M until after development.
Finally being able to play as red hood is the best feeling ever

Red Hood is AWESOME. When doing the AR challenges they should put an “R-RATED mode” which means whichever character you use there will be more blood when attacking the thugs
yeah the game is rated M too so adding large amounts of blood wouldn't be any problem

Even tho i'm not a fan of how his backstory was portrayed in Arkham Knight, everything else i love. His design, how he plays in stealth and combat, and even his voice is pretty good, when he's not whining atleast. Troy Baker does a pretty good red hood.
even worst is they keep told you "oh no no~ Arkham Knight is actually an original char we created for this game" but then the moment he show up, everyone can tell that is Jason

@@jacksondarnell4186 It's not really the problem of it being too easy to know it's Jason, it's just how they present Jason's character in the game. In the comics he doesn't hate Batman for not saving him, but hates him for not killing Joker in the process. In this he just hates him because Joker, the psycho clown, told him that Batman "abandoned" him and replaced him with another Robin. It's even more dumb that Jason actually listened to Joker in the first place.
@@Christalwing I think it's actually make senses that he hate batman because back then Joker crush his mind to the point he listened and believed what Joker said to him. (like stockholme syndrome maybe?) So then he became AK first and not becoming RH right away (until later in the game ofc) because this version of him hate batman for not searching for him and in my opinion he is more fragile than original RH so it's like
AK=hate batman himself for betrayed him (as he thought)
RH=hate batman for not killing Joker

Have either of you has the game crash with Nvidia gameworks smoke enabled? It crashes much less often now that i did a clean driver install but it still crashes eventually.

I didn't play Arkham Knight so I must ask: How does Batman tolerate Red Hood? I know that he was Jason Todd and all that but he is not different than any other murderer in Gotham City. And please don't tell me he is using rubber bullets or something stupid as that.
He isn't really in the game at all until the very end. So for most of the story, it's not an issue. Clips like these take place in challenge modes that are outside the story.
The comics can explain more, but they had an agreement. But that was in a different universe where Jason actually dies. In this one Red Hood lulls regardless of what Bruce thinks.
At first red hood used real bullets. Only later on when he learned to forgive batman and himself he started to use non lethal weapons. In this game he is a killer tho since he started being red hood after bruce faked his death
You're asking the wrong questions here, from a biased perspective. Look at Gotham City and tell me that it wouldn't be safer if the seemingly irredeemable thugs that loop in and out of prison due to Batman and the GCPD letting them get away with practically anything were stopped permanently. Whilst they're afraid of being roughed up by Batman, they certainly don't have much fear of the consequences, especially the higher level villains. Red Hood gives them something to actually think twice about.
@@stevenbobbybills sadly that doesn't work out much, even in the comic and animated series, unlike Batman, who can show up out of no where and take them out, with Red Hood, it just turn into an all-out gun fight.
But i think both Batman and Red hood's method can work, it just the problem is they are in a story, so Gotham always seem like they have endless supply of thugs for hired.

I'm not a big fan of the newer characters and how they play. Red Hood and Harley Quinn each needed two more special combo moves like the rest of the cast, and Red Hood having infinite ammo makes him rather disinteresting to play in stealth. He could use more gadgets too.

in this mission the bank's alarm covers the sound of the shots and hits. that's why the shots aren't heard.
I still like it and play it both maps but i still think adding medics was the wrong call especially if you planned on putting red hood in the game
