    I just bought my first stunt bike with a similar brake set up from ssmoto, but my tire doesnt spin as freely almost as if the brakes are holding it down a bit, what could it be? thanks for the help

    Sick video man. Please help me out here.... I had a 16mm Magura HC1 with dual Nissin calipers off a 2019 and it felt great but was sooo touchy and sketchy on the street. So I tried going down to a 13mm HC1 with a single caliper and its very very spongy. Now, Nate from the Sic Shop is saying the proper config would be a 16mm with a single caliper or a 19/20mm for dual calipers... But you are more along my thinking having a 16mm on the duals...
    So... if I only want to run a single 4-piston, should I try the Brembo RCS 14 or go back to a 16mm? Maybe the RCS 16 so I have the adjustable ratio as well?

      Hey man sorry the late reply, I honestly stay away from the Magura setups as I have heard a lot of riders have the same issue. I have always stayed with brembo 16/18 or 19/20. Personally I found the 19/20 ran well with one quad piston caliper with a more tense feel and the 16/18 with two quad piston calipers (with good brake fluid) had more feedback and stayed very responsive on the longer sessions. Some other stunt riders might not agree but that is what I found worked for me. I hope this helps.

    What calipers did you use for the this set up? In the rear

    Does it matter which handbrake caliper you start bleeding with first? Like at 6:40 you start with the one closer to the master cylinder then finish with the caliper farthest from the master cylinder.

    Is that brembo a special model just for left side ? The standard brembo for right side is different to what is in the video because banjo is always on the underside.

      That is a good question and I have been asked this a bunch of times, I was lucky enough to purchase a few brembo's that were of an older style before they changed the banjo bolt location. I do have the newer models on some of my other bikes with the new banjo bolt location.

    if anyone is kind enough to answer: do you need another reservoir for the handbrakes? or does it connect to the rear brake reservoir?

    • @ongames1
      @ongames1 2 роки тому

      Yes you need another reservoir for handbrake, the regular foot brake has a reservoir and a line for its caliper, so if you're adding another caliper and another line going up to the handlebar, you need a reservoir alongside it

    What length brake line please help

    • @Jbstunts
      @Jbstunts  11 місяців тому

      I run between a 75/80inch (Handbrake) line for most of my bikes it gives me enough room to run it cleanly through the bikes without it getting pinched or damaged. @CoreMoto have a great selection of custom lines.
