Protection of life and property includes responding to incidents. The driver of the car was wrong for failing to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle, however, this rig was traveling entirely too fast. Not only did this crew fail to make it to the original incident, they created an additional incident that caused injuries to the members and driver of the car.
Definitely the SUV drivers fault. Couldn’t wait two seconds to make their turn. They wanted to rush it so they weren’t held up by the fire truck. You pull over to the right when you hear sirens coming up behind you, not make your left turn quickly to try and beat the truck
What happened to pulling over to the right side of the road for emergency vehicles?? Granted the rig might’ve been going a bit fast, but whose first instinct is to turn in front of the big truck with flashy lights and loud sirens?🤦🏻♂️
They’re responding to an emergency, they don’t have to slow down. People need to pay attention and get out of their way. The driver was probably texting
You could say the same about the SUV driver! They made a left turn in front of a fire truck with blaring sirens and lights. You pull over to the right OR stop where you are if you can’t pull to the right when you hear an emergency vehicle. You don’t quickly make your turn to get out of the way and try to beat the truck. The driver didn’t wanna be inconvenienced. Grade A entitlement

People need to get their heads out of their phones

Too fast and out of control. Back to driving school.

Car made left turn from right lane. Cars fault.
There’s only two lanes. One going north and one going south.
