Everything about this lathe is cheap. I have this and it’s hard to use. I had to by sorbothane pads to put on the bottom to prevent the excess vibrations and it bouncing. Then the motor screw vibrated off even after I had tightened it. Also the part where you rest the chisels moves like crazy and wobbles loose. It’s kind of dangerous to use. You can get some stuff turned but it’s very hard to do because of all the wobbling and excessive vibrations. Save your money and get a better lathe.
the part that holds the wood is on the shelf above the lathe
I had an issue aligning my head and tail. Did you have that issue, and what did you do if you did?
How do you change the speed?
Just unboxed this, spent about 5 mins with the directions and now I'm here. I'll let you know how it goes.
Been 10 months. You die?
@@williammiller3277 Nope, still here, however that thing is the devil.
@@JasonSaxMusichow so?
Where did you get the extension bed from
Isnt it just screws you need for the faceplate
I bought the exact same one from Vevor and they are junk . You have to put a jam nut on the tail stock or it will back off and their warranty is a total joke. I would not recommend this machine even if you can't afford anything better , it's well worth your time and money to wait until you can afford a better one.
Like watching a baby give a review
Wow dude sounds like you made up your mind before you started.
Does it work?
Use canning wax to slide not oil
It is garbage center to center not mach. Can't use bits from handel side
Man I’ve seen you comment on 5 different videos about this lathe.
