- Yep, that's right. Keith is coming to the land down under, not to sample our Vegemite but to attend the 2024 Knox Vintage Bash 3.0
It's been a long time coming but Keith makes the commitment to heading over and it's going to be a blast start to finish. - Спорт

You aren't wrong Adam. A lot of folks are looking forward to meeting Keith and Im certain he'll enjoy meeting them too.
You guys are going to have a blast. A road trip in the middle is not a bad thing either.
Well stop in on our trip south to grab a meat pie at the Dog On The Tucker Box and when heading north we'll stop in for a day at Wodonga.

Yes and how could he not. It will be a blast for everyone and to have friends from afar come join in on this event says a lot.
This is gonna be epic. Wish I could come, but really looking forward to seeing the videos from you, Keith and whomever else go to this awesome event
It takes a lot to prepare for these events, travel to and race them, which also means turn marshalling after each race too.. then there's the time spent capturing the video, either with a go pro on a pole or flying my DJI drone. Eventually when I return home I'll drop all the footage I get into my hard drives and begin the immense task of editing it enough for people to watch without getting motion sickness 😆😆😆.
There's a reason few people are up to the task but I employ the power of autism and get er done... and still I must be the only channel that refuses to compromise with ads by NOT monetising. Crazy to think I do it all for no monetary gain.

I did it in the 80s and there is nothing better! Leave the carpet raving to the Mardave minis lol but seriously Keith and you guys are living the RC dream being involved in an event like this! I will be there in spirit Jason lol well will watch the vids anyway! Cheers James
You aren't wrong James. This is my normal. I raced on these tracks in the 80's and early 90's then in this vintage resurgence in the mid to later 2000's onwards, always been on dirt. Carpet and Astro isn't my type of off road. The cars need to slide and roost because for me that's true off road.

Its gonna be a great event by the sounds of it, need to try my best to get there next year 🤞 the class system works great, Revival and the lakeland classic use an age bracket system for cars and it works great. A nice mix of cars from that era battling it out on track 👌 im throwing a rough rider out there this year. Seems a great fun class, where its more about getting through 5 mins than coming 1st 😂
I'll make a more in-depth video on the Bash 3.0 soon enough. However there are no trophies or rewards for places

Are you guys going to be doing anything in Castle Hill?
Keith will get the full Sydney rc tour. Castle Hill, North Ryde plus the home of the 1989 Ifmar - St Ives.
Also on our trip home the Wodonga track... some great track action videos will come out of this
Castle Hill has been completely rebuilt now in order to make ready for the 2025 IFMAR WORLD TITLES next year. I live about 2 hours north of that facility so I'm yet to go see all the changes for myself. But im told its no longer suitable for vintage racing 😢
