    I'm not too into electric bikes at all but this does look pretty slick and I could see myself using one

      Everytime I let someone ride that has never tried an electric bike their eyes light up and they always want one.

    How many miles did you max out on with one charge ?

    • @GadgetInspector

      I can't remember off top, but I'm almost 100% certain it's in the video. I prolly even have a timestamp for it.

    did any of yall bikes come with extra fuses ? if so what are they for? Otherwise, i love this bike, living in KS , 36 blocks wide, this is perfect

      I don't remember seeing any fuses with mine. Not sure what those would be for.

    It would be interesting to see you take that bike to the Riley Trails but it might be too bulky for there.

    • @GadgetInspector
      @GadgetInspector  9 місяців тому +2

      I was unaware of those trails...now I gotta check it out. This bike is not much larger than a standard mountain bike if at all. It's about 11 miles from where I live so this could even be a good range test for my bikes. I have one that I still need to assemble and review hopefully before the weather changes for good.

      @@GadgetInspector Just north of town and a couple blocks off the Lake. They are mt bike trails so I can see how an ebike would be too heavy for that as without pedal assist who wants to pedal an 80lb bicycle on the back of a dune?? On the other hand you've got all those Meijer trails running everywhere which is where most people around here would ride an ebike so they'd be good practical tests for battery life. And for proof, hit any of those trails on a weekend and a genuine pedal bike is a rarity. But ebikes do allow old folk like me to get around when our knees are too shot to pedal our Schwinn Varsity's.

    What’s the torque?

    • @GadgetInspector
      @GadgetInspector  4 місяці тому

      If I didn't mention it in the video I probably couldn't find that data. It has to be at least 80ish if I had to guess cause it gets up hills darn well.

    Can you pedal without any juice in it just incase your battery dies?

    • @GadgetInspector
      @GadgetInspector  4 місяці тому

      Yep. I believe I showed that in the video during the pedal assist test.

    Nice review! Just bought that bike... how is it holding up?

    • @GadgetInspector
      @GadgetInspector  8 місяців тому +1

      So far so good. The only thing I'm noticing now is that the front suspension isn't very good. Otherwise, still a good bike.

      @@unmannedaerialexploration it’s not really a defect. It’s the quality of the components.

    Have you found a way sir to get to that top speed?

    • @GadgetInspector
      @GadgetInspector  8 місяців тому +1

      No I think my size and weight caps me at about 25. I think I could hit 28 if I killed myself trying….not really worth it.

    I have a full sized ebike and rack, but a nice folding bike would be cool to have too. But it's 70 lbs? Holy cow. That's heavier than the one I have. The fat tires probably make for soother ride but the size of the wheels, make me question how stable it feels.

    • @GadgetInspector
      @GadgetInspector  9 місяців тому +1

      Other than the commuter style bikes and minis, a good majority of e-bikes are pretty heavy. I have a vanpowers urbanglide pro coming and it’s 70+. My Aventon is 70+. As for the ride, I definitely didn’t go easy on it for the review ride test and it feels solid. No wobbling at all at higher speeds and I always feel in control. Until I get a fold able that impresses me more this is gonna be my go to ebike when driving to locations. I do want to try one of letrics just to compare.
