i'm so glad you're reconnected with God! but i hope you know connection starts with studying God's Word and replying to Him in prayer, and this connection is maintained regardless of us feeling so. i'm glad music makes you feel connection with God, but don't disconnect from Him because, well, you feel disconnected. i also feel disconnected from God sometimes, even after studying His Word. it doesn't change the fact that Him and i are friends forever.
