    Great info! I encourage everyone to click that link and check the info on David's. He's been around since the beginning and is excellent to work with. (and if you're lucky, you'll run into him at the Boardwalk 😉.)

    I have never rented DVC points before. My husband and I are wanting to rent DVC points for October 2020 at the Polynesian (a studio/standard view). Is the Polynesian difficult to get in as well? I knew we needed to book 11 months out to have a good chance in getting the resort we wanted but I didn't know if we could start the process any sooner than that, like by a few weeks or so. I was just thinking about this today and then your vlog was posted. Thank you for sharing. It was very helpful.

      You should have no problem getting a Poly studio 11 months out ☺️ The Poly actually has a pretty large inventory of studios! So you should be fine! 👍🏼 So glad this was helpful!

    Thank you for this video! When you want to book a specific resort 11 months out, do you have to make sure that you are renting from a DVC account with that resort as their home resort?

      Great question! When you submit a request to David’s (the 3rd party) for instance, they find the owner for you! So they essentially do all the work on your behalf. I have a whole playlist on renting DVC points if you’re interested in learning more about the process 👍🏼

    Hi Bekah. So sorry I'm late (this video has been in my "watch later" for almost three weeks now). My mom and I were originally booked in Pop Century (our home resort) for Thanksgiving this year. Long story short, we are in a rut and the dates don't work for us anymore and Pop Century is completely booked for the dates we want. I've been thinking about DVC rentals for this trip, and I think this would work in place of Pop Century. My mom is not totally convinced by renting DVC points. How can I reassure her this rental process is worth it?

      Hey Cathleen!! I recommend watching a few of my other DVC rental videos. I have one that goes into detail on how much you save by renting points! Thanksgiving of this year may be challenging to find any DVC villas available, but you can definitely check! ☺️

    You talked about beach club studios how is that different than just the beach club hotel room?

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  5 років тому

      A BC studio villa has a kitchenette, one queen bed and sofa bed. A regular BC room has 2 queen beds and no kitchenette ☺️ That’s going to be standard for all studio villas.

    Is there an advantage to purchasing the meal plan through the DVC rental as opposed to purchasing through a Disney account?

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  5 років тому

      There is no price difference ☺️ But it all depends on how you book your resort. Through Disney you can book the DP on you own, through renting points you can only book through the owner 👍🏼

    Travel insurance? Do they offer any or would we need to buy that directly with Disney? Or what are your recommendations on travel insurance while renting dvc points?

    • @BekahHart

      I know David’s DVC Rental has a travel insurance company they recommend 👍🏼 There’s a link directly from website and everything!

    If we want to book Poly studio or Bay Lake studio, and we submit a couple weeks before 11 months (we’re planning an early November 2020 trip), do you think our chances are good or is it still a big gamble even then?

      We’ll have a 1 and 3 year old so we want to be on the monorail for easy stroller use and would love a theme park room so we can watch the show with wine while the littles are snoozin! 😄

      If you’re booking right at 11 months, you should have no problem getting Poly or BLT ☺️ Especially if you’re submitting your request a couple weeks early, I would assume those would be easy to get 👍🏼

    I’m kinda confused, does DVC include only rooms not actual park passes included? Thanks!

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  5 років тому

      Correct! DVC is room only, tickets are not included ☺️

      Bekah Hart Thank you so much! I’m so glad I learned about DVC, for a 4 night stay it’s only 504$ that’s insane!

      DVC is basically Disney’s version of a timeshare. You can purchase points that equal a certain number of nights at Disney villas ☺️ I have an entire playlist of videos touching on DVC if you would like more info!

    how long did it take you to rent points? lately, all I'm hearing from Davids DVC and DVC rentals is that there is a shortage in DVC points.

    • @BekahHart
      @BekahHart  4 роки тому +1

      Not long at all! As soon as I submit my request, I typically have my resort booked within 24 to 48 hours 👍🏼

      @@BekahHart Oh wow very fast, well I've been trying to book a resort since Feb 3rd! for some reason the availability keeps changing each time and is no longer available. I was told that there a shortage of points industry-wide.
