Your videos have been very helpful, im gonna take test next friday. Could you go more in depth with the quadratic formula please? It got me a little confused at the end :(
Hi, I'm taking my Accuplacer test next monday and your videos have been very helpful. Still I have a doubt. In the first exercise I think the answer is 5/4x +0, not plus 1... correct me if I'm wrong but that's what another teacher told me and now I'm a little bit confuse. Anyway, thank u for your videos!
Maybe the other teacher made a mystake pal, keep in mind that y = mx + b means y = the slope times x + the y coordinate given by the problem. The problem tells us that the line passes through the points (0,1) which are x=0 and y=1. On thr equation, that would be then replaced with 5/4x + 1 = y. Now, if you think that's wrong, it's easy to do the test where plug kn the values given by the problem like: 5/4(0) + 1 = 1. Since the problem says the line crosses 1 in the y axis, then we can confirm this equation for the line is correct
