Only a few weeks away now.
Pawns can use the sorcerer and warrior vocations as well.
Tornado, most satisfying skill hands down in 1, will be playing sorcerer in 2 as well. No question.
The vocation system strongly reminds me of the job system in ffxiv
Did they show all of them ??
Pawns can be advanced vocations too not just the starters. Pawns can't be hybrid vocations.
Oh baby, I can't wait. Need to play a full mystic knight playthrough on dd1 and give my favorite vocation a send off
What I didn't hear is if you want to min max every vocation gives you different stats each level so always keep that in mind. 😊
Your stats adjust when you switch vocation
@@rocketdurham4926 True, but it doesn't mean they don't grow too
@@idontmindbeingforgotten712 in the original game your stats didn't change when you switched you got stats based off what vocation you leveled up you can look up min max guides for all classes.
That changed with this game.
It seems to be a mix, but according to Rurikhan each vocation has its own stats instead of min/maxing
what do you mean pawns only get 4 vocations? first game had pawns as other than 4 vocations
Did you watch the video?
It says pawns get starter and advanced vocations right on screen.
@@phant0mdummyi was listening to it so i didnt see it thanks
@@votpavel lol, that explains it.
The director also came out and hinted there may be pawn exclusive vocations too. Could be a translation thing though
i miss Mystic Knight and Assassin in this game, cannot be they dont implement that, something goin to happen in the future i know.
I wouldn't be surprised to see assassin not come back since it was basically just strider again with a sword and sheild maybe. But mystic knight was it's own thing for sure
Fighter/warrior or Archer.. I cant decide
I like all the classes. Think I'll end up playing them all then picking wayfarer depending on how good it is and its drawbacks. This is the type of game you do multiple play throughs of anyway. I beat the first game only 3 times but still. Ultimately though I'm leaning towards Thief, Archer, and Mage/Sorcerer. over the past couple years, I've grown to love thief type classes even tho I'm a mage at heart but can't deny the animations for archer look so sick. can tell dodging enemies and then kicking off them just to shoot another arrow at them will never get old
wow ... i struggle in EXACTLY the same :D but i propably go by warrior
Hi is it possible to change gender in this game, like we can in elden ring?
yeah
Will probably be locked in though once you start the game
does the thief have an advanced class?
No
Don't let the game fool you the starting classes can be endgame too just like the original.
Strider was a beginning class in the 1st game and it's one of if not the best class (I played Magik archer mainly)
Theres no such thing as hybrid or advanced classes, instead in this game there are starter vocations and vocations you unlock such as mysitc spearhand, warrior and sorcerer
@@withoutwarmth incorrect... advanced classes are more specialized versions of the base classes... that does not mean that the base classes aren't good just that the advanced classes are more specialized. for example warrior is basically fighter but focused on damage instead of defense and you toss the shield to focus on damage but your slower than fighter.
same with sorc you lose access to healing/protection spells but gain more powerful but slower spells... that doesn't mean mage cant be good and its great as a support pawn.
and of course the hybrid vocations are a mix of 2 others like mystic spearhand is a mixture of close combat fighter/warrior style combat mixed with magic and long range spells from mage.
This seems cool but I can’t shake the feeling that we’re missing classes. Like, in my mind, each starter class should have an advanced version and then a hybrid version that mixes classes to where each play style has growth to look forward to. Right now, it just seems like they added a couple cool class ideas to the endgame that we’re all going to be siphoned into. Warfarer feels like the end all, be all, quite literally. You can litterally combo between multiple vocation/weapon types. It almost feels like the canon arisen class that you can’t unlock until NG+. I guess we’ll see in a couple weeks.
They said the jack of all trades has major downsides so each class has its use
Rise of the ronin first than dragons dogma after Elden ring dlc
I lied. Dragon dogma first. Rise of ronin whenever it is on sale lol
@@iiam2vicious968 yeah the hand on previews dont seem so good😅
