This absolutely blows me away.....I was there, and certainly what I was hearing, had me doing the twirl girl stuff..... in hindsight or retrospect, this a momentous performance. I take this one to the deserted island with me. My goodness!
This period of JGB is some of my all time favorite Jerry! His tone on that Travis Bean guitar, his delicate emotion, passion, creativity, and patience building to a ferocious attack, crunch, power, etc. etc.
Absolutely. Post 74 it's all JGB for me. Wasn't always but sure as heck is now! Prefer the 1980 4 piece & any w/Keith. Kahn is a master & I really believe it was Jerry's true love & escape. Playing some of the best guitar ever in 1980 w/JGB. '73 Dead is still the absolute Peak for me. But I still listen to shows right up to 95. Philly 95 was pretty darn good. Boston 94 wasn't too shabby & 90/91 definitely had some amazing moments. ✌🏽✌🏽
I love the Black and white videos 76-80. I'm from San Rafael Marin county San Francisco California rastafari Tucson Arizona Sonoran desert 🏜️🌵☮️🌞🐟 yes I stellar. Saw once Ventura fairgrounds All other shows at the Warfield keep on keeping on Africa Ethiopia Addis Ababa Selassie I creation we are all African did you know Garcia or garthia means wolf 🐺 in 🐈 Catalonian?
Wore this cassette out - DC area head. I dream this gets released…my guess is this might be the best recording of that night. Tone the playing it’s absolutely JGB soaring. 🖖🏽
Once again Jerry gets me high and in the spirit! 🔥🕺💨🍄☮️
You can't say Jerry wasn't happy here...very happy indeed!
wow!
Are you kidding me???!!! This is exceptional...
Love this comment. Makes me smile every time I see it. Thx Jack 😉
