Back again... I've listened to this so many times...especially soothing after Neal's passing. This concert is so special for me because it was the first time I got to hang with the guys after the show and chat music thanks to my sis who had become close friends with Neal. They are all so great. Also I was in the upper balcony overlooking Adam and got into a pic by DC Music Review... I have an enlargement of the photo from their website in my mancave... (Thank you Josh and Jason!) What a great way to remember my evening, a great person in Neal, and a super band that I hope plays on for years...
thanks for saying so, man. neal's whole vibe, his playing and his patience, was so special. i really miss him. i got to see his first live performance at lockn' in the forest. i was in the front row, right in front of adam. he twisted my mind that night, deliberately and fiendishly.
@@gregcrist4699 Yeah man, Adam is a cool dude. I chatted with him for over an hour after their Gypsy Sally’s show in DC one night. He was so cool to talk to about music. Shared with me his love for Bernie Worrell from P-Funk and how that inspired his playing. Also shared with me why Immovable Object is called that... I said “is it because of that Fender Rhodes - that is an immovable object” and he l laughed and said “no, it’s because the melody never moves as the chord changes move around it.” So cool to get insight from the guy who wrote the tune. Loved that. Miss Neal every day. Just picked up his 45 of Everything is Moving and Green Moon on Amazon, and am expecting the tribute album soon. Can’t wait. Peace.
So smooth . Love how Adam plays lead on most of these songs, so different than most bands where guitar is lead and keyboard is really rhythm.. great music for the background and still able to work and not be distracted. Remember hearing some of these tunes at Fare thee well in Santa Clara and being blown away.
@@gregcrist4699 I thought so, funny how certain flows grab your attention. I have saw CRB several times in Buffalo. Little whine time, I am Canadian, land border crossing is still closed for us, already missed 2 Phish shows, really hoping to see Circles Around the Sun, solid jam band

Neal was such a selfless guitar player - always willing to share or give the spotlight to someone else.
certainly a welcome change up. in this case both players are great, but the interplay makes it better.

Yeah, Adam MacDougall... Was in CRB. They disbanded in 2019 after Neal left us
