Mrs. G said, "Something in the kitchen." Amazing how the fire only took two hours to do all that damage while Mrs. G was conveniently "out shopping." 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Sure there’s insurance - otherwise there wouldn’t be an adjuster there. IIRC, she didn’t update her policy to up her coverage limits, so she wasn’t 100% covered.
@@raquelh99 Yes; that's what I meant. When this episode fist aired on NBC many years ago, I watched it. I watched it every week. I was a freshman in high school when the series premiered.
You can thank Hakudo Isoda - hairstylist for seasons 6-7 for 1984-1986. He had Lisa's hair in 27 different hairstyles in season 6 resulting in the spring 1985 mullet that she tried to grow out during the summer - to be permed for this episode. She continued to grow it out - probably telling Hakudo NOT to cut it - all the way through the Christmas 1985 episode. Then, BOOM, 1986 and her hair was butchered to onion status - rock bottom was The Candidate episode. Worst hair of the series in that episode. I would have fired Hakudo at that point. Thankfully, Suzan Bagdadi was the hairstylist for season 8 in fall 1986 and left Lisa's hair alone to grow out.
Natalie cracks me up.
Me too. 😂😂😂I like her dwelling on what all the black ⚫️ spots ddd
Wow Blair’s hair! lol
It’s amazing how much the fashion / hair changed from early 80’s to late 80’s.

They should have had it where it was Kelly that torched it. lol.
After this happened they opened a new shop "Over our Heads"!
My goodness we used to watch these when they were NEW to tv - back when we'd have to wait a week between episodes. Jo was always my favourite
I remember................
I remember those days!
@@jenniferhansen3622 You know, Charlotte Rae died five years ago?
@@raquelh99 Yes, I know.😢
@@jenniferhansen3622 Your emoji cried your memories.
Should've got Robocop to help the insurance agent.
I remember this
How did Mrs. Garrett think that she could continue the lie? She blew it.
I cant remember how the fire started. Does anyone know?
No one knows for sure.

So how did the fire start?
The business was failing so Edna set the place on fire in order to collect the insurance money.
@@jaredjlinden Yeah, right. Why would Mrs. Garrett deliberately burn down her own shop?
@@jaredjlindenThere was no insurance. She let the insurance lapse.
Dude, she's old. She obviously forgot

Never. Saw this episode.
I did. And when it was first on TV too! When it was NEW!
@@retroguy9494You know... This is NOT "all-new". That's why? NBC aired many years ago because it's really old.

The fire wasn’t that bad

Who had the highest hair?
Kinda want to say Blair. Miss G just seemed to have her hair pilled on top of her head, idk if that counts.
Blair’s hair looks like a rat’s nest
I never liked Blair's hair after she had it permed like that.
I loved Blair' s perm
I like it most how she had it in the beginning of the show, so beautiful, this is just too much.
