Hi Brandon, thanks so much for taking the time to put this video together. I especially like the review portion!!! Good to see the reviews from people whom purchased this printer & their opinion as well. Thanks again & stay healthy!!!
I recently had to get a printer for my online classes. I got this thing because it seemed like a very good deal with the price so thanks for this video it will be very helpful after it shows up today!
Was a great help, I wish I would have seen your video before I bought it. But you could have went a little more in depth about loading the paper. Over all you were great, thank you for the help
Yes, you should be able to connect via wifi not bluetooth. If you have the Hp app you can get the scanned photos on your phone. There is no 2 sided scanning on this model. Thanks for the comment!
Hi Brandon. Your video helped me to unpack and easily set up my printer. Thank you for that. This is the second HP 8025e I set up in two days. I returned the first one today because when I would print a page from the paper tray (I put it on 8 1/2 x 11 setting), when I pressed "print", it spit out multiple blank pages. I took it back to BestBuy and bought another. The same thing is happening so I'm thinking it's something I'm doing wrong. The paper tray seems to not hold to the 8 1/2 x 11 setting when I push it into the printer - the paper in the tray is not tight in the tray (that's the only way I can explain it). Any ideas? Even the alignment page came out with multiple pages. It has to be me. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
Since you wanted stories, here's mine. I already have an old laser printer and enough toner to last for probably a decade. It does great crisp black and white document printing, and I have no intention of replacing it. However, I haven't owned a color printer in probably a decade, and I found myself needing to print about 30-60 pages absolutely saturated with color each month. None of this "assume 5% page coverage" stuff. I had been visiting various print shops that charged between 50¢ and $1 per page. I did some research, and as long as I'm regularly printing, I think I can use an inkjet without the cartridges constantly drying up. (That's the reason I switched to laser and just did without color.) I think I settled on this printer over the 9015 for the lower up front cost, as I don't need faster ppm. You've got me reconsidering though, as a front USB port to scan to and print from might be rather convenient, as well as double sided document scanning. (At 7:40 you mention it doesn't print double sided, but as you were pointing to the document scanner, I think you meant it doesn't scan double sided?) Anyway, with either this printer or the 9015 and the initial instant ink offer, I think with my circumstances the printer will have paid for itself within a year just by print shop costs alone, not to mention the gas and having to get there during business hours, and of course the hassle of putting on pants. ;) The two questions I had before watching were: * Does it have a flatbed scanner? I think I was looking at a much older model of multifunction that looked like it was document feeder only, and I wanted to be sure I could scan things that would jam a document feeder. You definitely answered that! * Many newer HP printers come with an initial Instant Ink offer with "up to X months free*" and try as I might I haven't been able to figure out what exactly that means. I'm assuming that includes X months of up to one of the middle or low tier subscriptions, like the 50 pages per month, and if you want a higher tier for the free initial offer, you have to choose fewer months. Scoping out the 8025 and 8035, they're functionally identical, except the 8025 has a 6 month free initial offer, while the 8035 for $30 more has a 12 month initial offer. This is still a mystery to me. Thanks for the video and the tip on the 9015! I'm going to have to reconsider my purchase now. That higher initial investment might be worth the extra features and I might regret skimping later.
Hi Brandon Great tutorial you for got to mention how hard those orange tabs are to pull off, I'm actually having wireless problems thank you for the info.
I tried printing pictures and my ink level are full and everything. But when I print pciture the colors are so off or saturated. My ink color is 910 and black ink is 910XL I wonder if it the ink cartidge number is the problem??

I found this video because I just bought this printer. I wanted to make sure I did everything correctly with the installation process. BUT. I keep getting a paper jam comment on the screen but there is no paper jammed anywhere. Am I missing something?
Ok, so i am setting this printer up. Currently.... but on the screen where it shows copy, scan and fax, the fax option is the last option I am given. This screen on my printer does not include the option for apps. Is there any way you could help me get around this issue? Thank you.
I already HATE the 8025.There is no option out there to use refilled ink and apparently there is no way around it. This printer is going to quickly become very expensive to maintain.
When setting up the software it only shows 8020 and not 8025. What should I do? We went through the whole process. It works so far but I am worried we missed something. Please advise.
Since you have the best review how would you compare this with the HP 7855? I mean it cost nearly double does not show it works with Alexa ECT vs. This one.
You forgot the Fax Telephone-line install process. There are two connection points (USA). Which one do use? NOTE: HP also left this process out of the quick install guides in the box.
The printer costs about 175 dollars and needs 4 ink cartridges that costs 110 dollars. I use my old HP printer which uses only 2 cartridges that you can buy for about 8 dollars a piece.
Do you find this printer to be loud? I just bought one and it sounds so loud when it prints, I came to your video to see if I could here what yours sounded like but the audio was cut for the voiceover. I'm just wondering if I should return it and get another type or just swap this one.

I dont know if all new printers are like this but you need wifi to set it up!!! GD it's a freaking printer why do I need wifi to connect it? Not only connect it, use it!
IMPO which is novice, stay away from this, far away! Your internet goes out, your printer goes out. I still dont know what I'll do if my router sheets to bed, I'll be starting from square one! Find out before you buy any new printer these days I guess, find out if it relies on wifi. Everytime I power this damned printer on I say a prayer it will recognize my computer. NO CONFIDENCE IN THIS JUNK! Just another scheme for big brother to watch.
