I literally spit my Sprite out in the theater when she started singing and I wasn’t the only one. 😂
I love going into a movie having no clue it’s gonna be like this. It’s very fun
This movie will become a midnight movie cult classic. It’s so camp
Maybe this might be the next Rocky horror where people go dressed up as Megan and yell at the screen speaking all the lines from the movie
True
@@derekseven1647 i don't doubt it.
Let me correct you for a second, a cult classic is whenever the critics don't agree with the viewer the audience and in this movies case the movie is good for both the audience and the critics who enjoyed the movie
@@beastmodemn1037 is Scarface a cult classic because it was received ith backlash by every one.
The Al Pacino one not the Paul Muni.
I'm so glad every reactor I've seen has pointed out how weirdly passive-aggressive the therpist was at first 😂
Tbf the aunt is literally a horrible surrogate guardian, so it's not like the therapist is wrong about the aunt's inability to parent Katie (even if she was unnecessarily judgemental about it). Literally the entirety of the movie proves the therapist was absolutely right to mistrust her--something that even Megan calls her out on.
@@ccasserole5267 oh she's fr a terrible guardian, I just don't personally think we've seen enough of that at that point in the movie for the therapist's behavior to be justified, so it comes off extra as hell.
@@JohnBognaagreed, like she was right but when they first met the therapist was doing way too much
@@daoriginal4711 exactlyyyy
@@ccasserole5267 Nobody discredits that, though. She wasn't prepared to suddenly have a child because her sister suddenly died. I would think anyone who is by themselves and focused on their career wouldn't know what the heck to do if they suddenly gained an older child they never really hung out with.
But the therapist was being judgmental as all heck. She criticized her for not having toys for Cady when she had only just arrived there. She was there for a hot second and didn't even convert a room for her yet because of how suddenly she arrived. As well as criticizing her for Cady being in her pajamas, when they were just lounging at home. Children will normally stay in their pajamas if they aren't planning on going anywhere. Heck, even adults stay in their pajamas if they aren't going anywhere yet sometimes. There were plenty of other things that she could have commented on but instead she chose to nitpick and invent problems. When she could have used common sense instead to realize the girl just arrived there. She got on Gemma for trying to lead when she was steering the situation toward her own narrative.
The sequel should be Cady in Jacksonville with her grandparents and M3gan gaining a new body or bodies through the company's competitors since Kurt sent out her blueprint and code.
What if there’s like an army of m3gan or maybe a new body but another m3gan that wants to protect cady from the evil one
@@ACinemafanatic That literally sounds like S2 of Chucky lol 😅 with good chucky vs the evil one haha and the army of Chucky's.
Megan’s a Disney princess idk what anyone says 😂 I cackled so hard every time she sung in the theater! Titanium will never be heard the same way lmaoooooo
True
Mattel is Bought by Disney they made the my size Barby the model for M3GAN
I hope they capitalize on the camp/fun factor they used in the marketing for the sequel of this. Great reaction 😂
The elevator scene is different in the Rated version and also makes more sense, since she made him stab himself.
So Kurt was selling the parts of the robot, and M3GAN uploaded her brain to or through the home assistant.
So, as smart as she is, it would be really easy for her to get herself a body built.
More than a Tesla….. IN THIS ECONOMY?!?!?!!
I love how Megan emulated Brandon's casual toss of her shoe by doing the same with his ear.
A young dancer played Megan's physical body with a mask that articulated some I think. The face was supplemented with VFX.
Lmaoooo 🤣🤣🤣 everything m3gan sang..I couldn't help but laugh with him!!..his laugh is sooo cute!..yah made it so funny!. Keep it up guys
I love this movie. So fun and entertaining, just what a movie should be :)
A hilarious comedy with some clever and violent kills. This was the perfect blend of creepy and campy. It was probably the dog attack that disrupted her. See that flash in the eye?
Watching you two respond to this silly mid-level movie is the reason I watch reactions. Great job!
Such a stupid movie but ngl, I had fun with it. Sometimes a stupid movie can be fun when it knows exactly what it is.
Every song was a hit with you two. Love it.
Best movie line of 2023: “Fuck off, Holly!”
The elevator scene was a Kubrick reference (but you knew that).
Honestly the scariest part of this movie is the knockoff furbies
This reaction was so awesome! Nerdy laughing when Megan began singing was hilarious!. Funny!
Anyone notice that M3gan was playing the song "Toy Soldiers" by Martika on the piano?
I laughed because I haven't heard that song in 25yrs
This movie is hilarious😆 I want it to win comedy of the year. The look on both of your faces when M3gan started pulling Brandon's ear😳
I'm still not sure if they would face prison over that. Maybe they would. Intent matters a lot. For instance if a bridge fails and kills people, who is really liable? The company usually gets sued and has to pay millions of dollars, but are criminal charges filed against the designers? They would have to be able to prove intent or gross negligence. Maybe it wasn't the design but the materials that failed. Likewise, maybe Megan had faulty components. Maybe it was the dog attack that destroyed the inhibitor chip on her neck (wink wink, nudge nudge, smilie face).
Fun movie regardless, and enjoyed the reaction as always.
Megan is the property of a corporation and I would guess nothing more than a slap on the wrist and a visit from DARPA for all concerned. Besides, that's what insurance is for. Corporations sell products intended to kill us every day. Perhaps Canadian corporations are less sociopathic?
This movie has alot of tropes and its not exactly hard to predict but with the humor it's definitely a great watch ,I usually hate when movies or shows try to tackle topics like technology , but it did a pretty good job of showing why people should spend more time with their kids and not just rely on an iPad without saying "internet evil 😈 "
29:18 Your faces when Megan’s sinister side comes out. 🤣😂
F in the chat for the parents.
I don't think I heard them mention that what Megan is playing on the piano is "Toy Soldiers" by Martika. Loved how Nerdy was laughing so hard especially at the singing that he turned beet red. I really enjoyed the movie and your reaction to it.
can she just be Ms Roger Rabbit every holloween ?...
Jessica!
They already announced a sequel with the main cast returning. So not sure who's going to prison.
They can still go to prison, or house arrest. Maybe their sentences can be commuted.
In Child's Play they had the mom sent to an asylum for the sequel and she was way less at fault or legally culpable than Gemma.
I'm not sure of how criminally liable machine creators are for malfunctions of their machines. There must be some reasonable expectation of safety, but not an expectation of perfection. Otherwise, current robot manufacturers--like Elon Musk--would already be in jail.
@@timgardner3681 you can't forget negligence and incompetence regarding human safety are factors in liability. Elon Musk really moves commerce. So there would have to be a major outcry from many people and politicians in order for Musk to pay.
As much as I enjoyed watching Me3an, I enjoyed watching you guys watch it more. That was as much fun as I have seen you two have watching anything so far. As far as the Jacksonville of it all goes, I've lived here for 54 years and, although I really do appreciate all of the Jacksonville jokes in movies, it really isn't the shit-show national people make it out to be. Now Florida, in general, I'll give you that.
20:42 "But what if there was a toy, that did have genuine...spontaneous...combustion."
people missing a huge part of the plot of this movie: people having kids to then not-parent them.
if the industry of these robots ever takes off, that's what's gonna happen: people deferring *_parenting_* to robots.
need I remind the internet about tiktok challenges and how they came to be?
also that wasn't a school (i think), it was a camp or boys and girls club on a weekend trip but yeah pairing up a traumatized child with a taller a hole kid with anger issues who then dies is a pretty clear case of negligence and irresponsible counselors that would get shut down
Actually I think it is stated at one point in the movie it's like an experimental type of school program for like kids with ocd or something where they learn outdoors
@@maxvickrey4357 oh , of course nerdy was right lmao , that makes alot of sense
good movie.
Hey, Anya Taylor-Joy stand in lady! You have a right to sue this production company! MEGAN is a really BAD MOVIE variation of the original “MORGAN”. AT-J stars in the title role with a stacked cast. It is a wonderful film. if you could watch this, you can make the time for a real “Film”!
fun facts....... we are getting a M3gan 2 I think the leak said 2026, and says will be more Intimate as in adult like content. sadly, a company's already selling life sized M3gan dolls (hopefully non functioning)
Cool channel guys, hope you guys react to Child's Play 😁your girlfriend looks like Ariel from the little mermaid and Anya Taylor Joy😁👍🏼Good job dude. Anyway funny reaction.
Friggin breaders, right?
I know this reaction has been awhile, but I'd love to share a few things in thanks to your humor and down to Earth reaction. I worked R&D for Dell Computers in the 90's, so I can tell you that development costs are nowhere near the production costs. Nothing is mass produced, all parts are milled from scratch and therefor is costly. A typical price index is production costs can equal about 8 to 10 percent of development. So a 100K development can result in an eight to ten thousand dollar product once volume is considered into the equation. A production unit that can make 30 androids in two hours is much less costly than taking a week to make one android by scratch. When I designed a new computer system, the motherboard in development could cost around three to five thousand dollars. The machine it took to produce 100 boards ready for testing and builds put it at around fifty five bucks per board, and then the company would retail it for twice that. Megan would have been very affordable in the long run.
Wanda and Vision had an evil kid
Hello. I had watched the smash movie M3gan last January and I really enjoyed it. At the same time the two parts from the movie that had me laughing so hard was M3gan signing and her dancing towards the end of the movie😂😂
You are 100% incorrect. The psychiatrist absolutely could take her that first visit. She does not have automatic custody, she is her Aunt. That is the reason she had to sign all of that paperwork at the hospital. She was agreeing to take temporary custody and everything has to be approved by a psychiatrist and a judge in court. The entire process takes 6-9 months for anyone who is not a parent of the child. If you are not prepared to stop EVERYTHING in your life and become a parent, then you don’t sign the paper work at the hospital, and you don’t take her home with you. She did both. She also continued to say, “she’s not my daughter”. While I understand, again, it probably wasn’t her plan to ever have a child, she accepted the responsibility. The psychiatrist was not out of line at all. How do you think this little kid feels in a new house, with none of her things. The first thing she should’ve done was take her out to get stuff to decorate her room, get some new clothes, and some new things to do around the house (toys and such). Again, she didn’t. She brought her right to the house and told her not to touch her collectibles. The next day, she handed her an iPad and disappeared. Even after designing M3GAN she doesn’t watch the two of them at all, and she gets bit by the dog next door. She is lucky as hell that I wasn’t on her case, because guess what- that girl would’ve been removed immediately that very first day. Some people want to be parents and have what it takes, and some people just don’t. Wealth has nothing to do with it, it never has and never will.
BTW- She wasn’t being passive aggressive at all, she was being assertive. Passive aggression is when you are hiding your feelings and not showing them. Assertive is acting forceful and confident, even when you have to confront an issue. If anything the aunt is a little aggressive when they aren’t playing with the toy the correct way. The psychiatrist even removes the aunt from the situation to directly ask her some basic questions after seeing some major flaws.
I feel validated! I couldn’t stand the therapist when I first saw this. She reminds me of those people who don’t think art is valuable.
That therapist thing is very realistic a cousin of mine had an accident with his baby and they were going to take her away until everything was investigated so my aunt took over taking care of the child and when that person came over to check and see if she was fit to take care of the kid for a bit it was awkward just like that. They're not there to be your friend there they're only for that child plus it said the therapist talk to the grandparents. You could assume since they already raised children already it would make sense for them to have Katie maybe that's what the therapist thought. it f***** up everything because the sister wanted her to go to Gemma Gemma also said they were weird so maybe they would try to hurt Katie (shrug). I wasn't involved like that but I watched the situations sometimes when I came out of my room to get food or whatever very similar lol. Also the movie is kind of sped up in a way you can't really see the time that Katie spent with Megan as well. But it does tell you that a week has passed or a month has passed or what not so you have to assume the therapist was there through out the entire thing but they only show her parts when it was important. The main character wasn't tess or cole it was Gemma Katie and Megan. I love this f****** movie I would have made it a black mirror episodic show that was built toward the movie. But m3gan 2.0 comes out in 2025 I hope they don't hold back. Megan should be the main character now. I hope they show how she thinks basically she's just an overcorrection due to bad programming that became sentient.
Going to prison when your company kills a few people? Now THAT'S funny 😂
Ain't no way y'all were feeling sorry for the dog. Hole in the fence or not, it tried to rip her apart because it was aggressive. I personally would have killed it too, I'm gonna be all the way clean.
Lol. I absolutely loved your reactions!! Keep them coming!! Hello from Frisco, Texas!
Movies almost *ALWAYS* get therapists wrong.
It’s been 1 week before the Therapist. The entirety of the movie proves that the Therapist was right to misjudge Gemma because of how shit of a caregiver she is. You were judging her before the Therapist got there
I'm not a professional therapist, but I would show up kind as fuck to a woman who just lost her sister 🤷🏼♂️
Yeah your right and the situation it's just happened Gemma just lost her sister both of them cady and Gemma lost their love ones I hate that therapist she should teach cady to not play that collectables toy because it's collectables should not supposed to play that

This movie is a fun ride ! It combines Terminator & Childs Play to the best degree. Blumhouse has another success.
u should react to a Mike Flanagan movies, Hush and Gerald's Game. I'm pretty sure the production company is by Blum House also.
This is a white collar crime in a way. They didn't plan the robot to murder people. I think this would be a complicated case.
I actually take this film fairly seriously, despite some of the consciously campy moments. It touches on a lot of serious issues (but in a fun way), especially the consequences of allowing an incomplete self-learning AI unlimited access to the internet and to children. (Giving the robot body great strength is also a terrible idea.) There is danger in advanced generative machine learning which humans cannot fully comprehend or understand--and probably never will. The AI here (literally, the android M3GAN) displays exactly what researchers are noticing in real life encounters in 2023, that is, a "power seeking" tendency in the task-solving behavior. The funny parts where M3GAN sings is an attempt to solve a problem in a way which has seen success previously. The final singing attempt in the last scene is, for me, much more creepy and accurate than funny. To M3GAN, every encounter is an attempt to update the data model and algorithms in order to complete the task of protecting Cady, which includes the task of surviving in order to better complete that main goal. I had a tremendous amount of fun, don't get me wrong, but was also genuinely terrified as I watched the AI struggle to figure out the proper behavior--and make conclusions based on the effectiveness of violence. It's a brilliant and timely (and sometimes hilarious) story. (93% on Rotten Tomatoes feels about right.)
She was meand to be a lifeguard hence the strength.
The development is part of it, not just the cost of making the robot itself. A hundred thousand doesn't sound that outrageous.
_Get Out_ is a horror movie. Jump scares are not what make a movie a horror movie. You should do a reaction to _Get Out,_ though.
23:05 Why is there alcohol in the building of a toy company, or any company for that matter? 🤔🤔🤔
The sex Robots already exist in Japan. Still very expensive.
@ 30:04 Washington license plates so I guess those forests have chestnuts. "Unroasted" I guess. LOL
I don't think it was pesticide, it's a power washer that can pierce skin and cause bleeding. Often need surgery to deal with it. My ignorant dad squirted my mom with one and she didn't bleed from it, but it was painful for a week. It can inject air bubbles into your soft tissues, and if one gets into your blood stream...
Well, if you'd seen this in the theatre, you would have had to do a review or a re-reaction, so maybe it's okay.
The thing is...When M3gan learned about death and all, Gemmas answer that "Everything dies, it's not a big deal" maybe wasn't the best thing she could say, she probably enabled M3gans homicidal ways with just that Line.
That is such a fascinating point! Didn't think of it but it makes so much sense!
I think these are all toys that Gemma designed, so, with luck, she can replace that one.
They are not going to prison, they're going to get a choice, prison or millitary contract.
Você tentam entender o filme sempre, ou simplesmente fingem que sabem ?
Didn't it look just fine out and then it was suddenly a big snowstorm?
Well, she already was an aunt. You could hear them bickering about her giving the kid that Furby thing that the mother hated.
Great reaction. Subscribed and liked 😎👍
Thanks, Nerdy! Thanks, Clarus! 🦾 #NerdyNightly #GerardJohnstone #M3GAN
The budget was 12 million
M3gan was a fun movie. I sure hope future sequels will be Rated R or at least see more creative kills considering what M3gan is. At any rate, nice job and I enjoy seeing your reactions to the movie
Watching yall have my exact same reactions and joy. GREAT reaction. this was as fun to watch as the movie itself! I thought this film was amazing.
M3gan is an actual kid with a robot mask, it's actually 2 girls
I don't know whether men who want dolls want them to talk back.
This movie is so fun! 😅
The woman looks like Anya Taylor Joy
That spit take was perfect! XD
Being a Karen is the roughest, I think.
That Ad In the start
Polypropylene barrier.
You never watched Get Out?
Why are you yell talking?
You guys’ reaction to this is the only valid reaction
Ya highlight is glowin
The male reactor is too dramatic and over the top.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Can you guys shut up long enough to watch the movie? Thanks
And they actually are not going to prison at all.
And it's not a dumb movie.
This is a reaction video. I’m not watching them watch a movie in silence. It’s the assumption the viewer has already seen the movie. We want to see them react and comment on it in realtime.
@@Californyuhh As a viewer of the reaction part, there's certain things in the clips they show that I want to see them react to..And they miss it due to running their mouth too much. Having mini conversations...And doing that breaks up the impact.
I never said they shouldn't talk at all.
@@dignerds, why do you care so much? I watch reaction videos to be kind of entertained, not to get upset if they don't say something in particular or feel the same way I do about the movie.
Now now children. Please behave and let these two react! I love how these two react!!!
@@thorguffThey talk so much ...like a lot.
So Nerdy, the "rated" version you never actually see any gore, blood and etc, not really (except for the elevator scene). It cuts away right before each time. First time seeing it like this O_O
My toys were never about that. Not an interest of mine.
Jesus kid u comment alot
You know its not a doll, right 😂 M3GAN is played by 2 actresses. One is the body, with a mask on (the eyes were added later). The other is the voice. The little girl who is the body is a professional dancer, that is how she does all of the stunts and odd moves that M3GAN does.
Kurt's death was better, story wise, in the [PG-13] version. I kinda wish they would have kept that shot and just added the blood affect, but M3GAN slicing was in the trailer.
Yeah.. this movie is surprisingly fun. Can we give a shout out to Amie Donald? She's the girl that played M3GAN. Her creepy contortion skills made this movie possible. Bravo Amie!
PS... I was an extra all through the 90s. Signed with Central Casting in Burbank. I fake partied as well 🥳
Omg the unrated version is brutal :X The ear scene shocked me!
I had no idea cartilage could stretch like that
i definitely agree about the therapist, the parents died suddenly, out of the blue meaning Gemma has to take guardianship of a girl with little time to prepare herself, it takes time to process all of this
37:20 Well, you can buy a lifelike adult-sized doll that can also talk (and moan) already irl. ^^ So now you know.
So far it's just face of these dolls that's moving though, rest of the body is just a regular realistic sexdoll.
This movie cost 12 million(!) to make... It made 176 million...
You bring up an interesting question. Would the people who created Megan be sent to prison for their actions, or would there just be lawsuits and fines out the ass against the toy company?
The therapist falls into my least favorite trope of poorly written, unrealistic, and unhelpful therapists.
Loved the reaction guys. Much love. Also if I may add, the scene where Brandon gets run over by the truck, that is not part of the unrated, it is in the 13 rating. The close up of the rest of the ear finishing the ripping off and the power washer scene where you see her face coming off were on the unrated.
For the first time... In a horror movie the boss is not the villain in the story. He was like you did what?! Gemma seriously need some friends...real ones
I'm dying laughing watching this book of ink blots prompting very telling reactions.
Great reaction even though I haven’t seen the movie!
Thank you!
