I just visited nyc but I went there and I got an everything bagel with plain cream cheese omg the best bagel ive ever had in my entire life- fav food from my trip. its super close to washington sq park and I sat and ate it there. 10/10. also red poke is by columbus circle and they have really good fully customizable poke bowls, ate there twice.

Hey there, Good Morning! Well, well, well...back to the city of urine it is, lol. But I agree that suburban Michigan is prob not the most thrilling of places to enjoy the summer. And high fives to you regarding your spontaneity - especially when it comes to travel. Frankly I’m the same way - just book it and go already, lol. Anyway, I’m glad you found a cool and cozy place to stay, and I also admire you for wanting to focus forward - flourishing and achieving your goals in support of a future in NYC. Yes, I know getting back into the gym is (and can be) tough - especially following a break, but when the temperatures begin to rise, your body will kindly thank you for keeping fit. Just be sure to stretch 5-7 mins (before and after) your workout to help prevent any muscle injuries. Food wise (and when you have some time) try and visit an Italian sandwich shop (Antico Vinaio) located in the village. They have the most fantastic (truly remarkable) sandwiches. And yes definitely, get in a few games of Mahjong as well. Perhaps grab your favorite coffee (or some Boba) and just pull up a chair and chill for an hour. Definitely depends on the area/time of day It used to be that you just had to pay close attention to your surroundings at night but now things are happening during daylight hours/rush hour. Just be extra careful of your surroundings!
Don't come here unless you want air that is barely breathable food expensive transport expensive weather is either to hot or cold and apartments and houses will cause you an arm and leg plus it will be flooded a few decade what a nice city 👌
Lot of things no body told you . 20 years of living NYC. What are dangers of living NYC? crime spree. No body talked about in NYC. but there's lots of crime spree everyday. not once a month, week, year. Happens everyday. Don't got o strange gang places. you get shot. you have to be careful with foods in NYC. there's roaches and rats. You also need to be careful with scams, identity thieves, solicited, friend, and even best friends. Friends sometimes turn your backs. Happens everyone in NYC. School violence is not common. Be careful with insurance scams operated by illegal immigrants. it looks legit. Dental scams is everywhere. Real estate scams is everywhere. you want to buy house. they charge more money than you recently moved in nice small cosy apartment and nicely design - That's for starters. when people get in mid life crisis. sigh.. everything's set new yorkers back. You will experience NYC friend turned back against you. They make you go out expensive restaurants. I really mean five star restaurant. Happens everyone. you have to treat them very well otherwise, they will cost your job; lying about your illegal activity that you didn't commit. NYC is not like what you see on TV Show like Friends and Seinfeld. They are fake. That's not what really happen in NYC. Always buy a chain locks when you moved to luxury apartment . it's doesn't matter if people won't rob your house. NYC is shit hole. If people live wealthy NYC. People are treated nicely. if you have billions or half billion. they like you there. if people live under million dollars. they treat people like shit. Finally, don't wear fucking shorts or sexy clothes in NYC. Sexual harassment is very very difficult to avoid. There's crazy homeless, messed up or mentally ill people liking dumb sexy women. Wearing sexy clothes in NYC will turn away from rich. NYC men think women are bimbos or love interest with homeless people living outside the street. NYC is twisted. Not like other state. P.S. Don't live luxury apartment that have Camera on without concierge. Live luxury apartment that have that have 24/7 concierge. Welcome to NYC. Shithole never sleeps.
