    One thing that's very noticeable when you look at one of these in person, that mowing deck is built like a tank!

    I have a Husqvarna 2014 model YTH18k46. It has a Kawasaki FR600V 18HP engine, 2 blade orange steel reinforced 10 year warranty 46" painted orange deck, and hydrostatic pedal actuated transmission. I would say the engine is top shelf, the deck is far superior to the pathetic, tin foil quality grey colored deck you get at Lowes on the 42"-46" but not as bullet proof as the one in this video. The transmission is trouble free and flawless so far and only time will tell how rugged it is. It cuts great, tows effortlessly and is fatigue free 100%. Well worth the extra money over the entry level tractors.

      +Brandon Lee By the way the Kawasaki 18HP has more 8-10 more FT Lbs. of torque than the 22HP Briggs engine and never feels under powered.

    Craftsman,Poulan Pro,Poulan/WeedEater are ALL made by Husqvarna Outdoor Products, the riding mowers are built in Orangeburg,SC and push mowers built in McRae,GA. As of 2010, the Craftsman LT/LTS series are made by MTD but the Craftsman YT/YTS/GTS are all made by Husqvarna. Husqvarna also makes some private label brands. hope this information helps.

    thank you for posting this video I have one of these on order and it should be coming in any day now. It's amazing how brave people get behind computers from some of these comments very negative. First off Husqvarna makes Sears Craftsman secondly you cannot find another model like this in the Sears Craftsman lineup. You cannot find one with that same deck on it nor that same engine. I ordered a Craftsman I've had several Craftsmen in the past but the customer service with Sears has gotten terrible. So I called Husqvarna the dealer and it's just nice having a dealer who will stand behind the machine. Like I said no negative comments here I have nothing to prove to anyone I do appreciate you posting this video very kind of you to do that.

    I have a GTH24V52LS that I bought new in June 2012. Currently only has 71 hrs on it. I have big hills so I replaced the rear turf tires with the knobby style and liquid filled them for weight. Climbs like a mountain goat now! This past Saturday I ordered myself a new John Deere X590 with 54" and a bagger to replace the Husky. I already have a JD compact diesel tractor so I wanted a matching little brother. ;-) I'm going to service the Husqvarna and put it on Craigslist soon.

    How about another review...if you still own it.I want to post a review of my Husqvarna riding mower on my channel one of these days.
    I have a mid level riding mower, I am looking to upgrade to the GT, my current model has 366 hrs on it.I have only had one major issue since I have owned it, it is a major problem Husqvarna is aware of and they actually have a repair kit for it..the frame cracks where it is bolted to the transaxle.The model you have ,Husqvarna beefed up the frame by adding extra steel to support the transaxle, they still don't do that on their YTA models and I'm sure over time their frames will be cracking.I did the repair myself by watching a couple of UA-cam videos, I had to remove the transaxle, cut off the tabs where the frame bolts to the axle, weld up 3/16 angle iron in it's place and drill new holes to bolt the tranny to.It's all back together and running like new again.

    I know you apparently work on these for a living but to say the cheaper ones are junk is not true. I had a JD cheaper model used and used it for 4 years for a mowing business. It is still running today. I then switched to a cheaper JD that becasue it had a slightly larger cut and it ran great too. In total I used them for almost 10 years and thats with commercial use and they are both still rocking. I also know several family members friends and acquaintance that have similar results. The more expensive ones are heavier built and more bells and whistles I agree but the cheaper ones are not "junk" I'd also like to point out that I had no repairs needed to them other than basic maintenance.

    Hi do you still own this tractor? I was watching your video and at 3:15 into the video it shows the engine with two lines. The lower one is the gas line and other is a line above it connects to the air intake and goes around the back of the engine and down into the frame and goes somewhere. Do you know where this vacuum line actually goes? Mine fell off and I have no idea where it actually goes or potentially connect to. Any help would be greatly appreciated . !!!!!!!!!!

    Spending more money does NOT always guarantee a better tractor. We have a commercial encore xtreme and it has been nothing but problems. It was around 6k new too. Never will get one again. Spindle bearings replaced once by myself. Dealer wanted $450 to do it. I did it for $30. lol. The deck is really noisy. I must clean the deck out after every mowing to avoid burning up another deck belt. It's rather annoying. 2 hydraulic lines went on it. $80 a piece. We've gone through about 6 or 7 deck belts at anywhere from $75-130 a piece. Drive belt went on it also. Remember with a more expensive tractor, when something goes on it its going to be more expensive to fix. We also have a John Deere LA-175 bought at Lowes and (knock of wood) its had almost nothing go wrong with it in the roughly 225 hours that are on it. The zero turn has about 550 now. Not impressed with that zero turn at all.

    Didn't know they made motors for lawnmowers.

    • @Titliest07
      @Titliest07  9 років тому

      VERY dependable. Most landscape mowers have them on them and they run 8-10 hours a day all summer for years. They have been on walk behinds for 30 plus years

    I really wish they would just take the plunge along with not charging much extra and make regular yard tractors like this one with the water cooled engine she would make the thing last so much longer cooling fans and a forced induction air cooling system just doesn’t cut it these days heat as we all know diminishes the life of engines but is a necessaryEffect internal combustion engineThe thing that makes it run also where is it out with cars the cooling system Gracie dimension where in tear

    I've had mine for over a year now here are some of the downfalls great mower deck terrible terrible levers that hold the mower deck up. They are not strong enough for this mower I've had to work on this thing many times just to keep it adjusted up. They did not build those strong enough for the fabricated welded deck that's underneath it. Way to go Husqvarna. Also sometime or another if you buy one of these you can expect the front wheels to fall off they only use these cheap E clips to hold them on and they do not hold up. Another terrible thing I've had multiple issues with that why they could have not taken the time to put something more stronger than that I don't know. Build a great engine great mower deck but just did not build the proper support for these things.

    I have the lower end "junk" 46 inch as you call it. Its got over 150 hours on it and I haven't had one problem with it. If all you're doing is mowing a lawn then there's no need in buying this size tractor. Its a complete waste of money. It makes no sense to me why people do that. Just buy the standard mower. It lasts just as long.
