The same thing happens with me-from J-hope to Suga, then Suga to Tae, then Tae to JK, then JK to RM, then RM to Jimin, then Jimin to Jin. Then, after watching almost all of their MVs, Award show performances, and concert videos, I have realized that it is bound to be like this. They owned a certain song. If I watch Mic Drop, I fall in love with J-hope and Suga. I listen to Euphoria, I fall in love with JK. I listen to Blue and Grey, I fall in love with Tae. I listen to the Fix You cover, I fall in love with Jin. If I watch MAMA 2018 Idol Performance, I fall in love with Jimin and RM. Hahahaha! They are all WRECKERS! Lol!

P.s Koreans count birthdays differently so you're considered 1 years old the day you're born and then you age a year in the new year no matter which month your birthday is (they still celebrate it tho) so if you're born Dec 30th(like Taehyung) you're 1 and you turn 2 on Jan 1st.

Koreans, and a lot of other Asian countries, consider their age the year they are in... so when they are born, they are 1, as in they are in their 1st year of life... so on their 1st birthday, by Western culture, they are 2 because they are starting their second year of life. There is also something about Jan 1st... but I'm not entirely sure how that part works. :/
Almost every song they release now goes to #1 in over 100 countries. Even their solo releases do that. They beat Adele's record when one of their tracks went #1 in 109 countries... I think o_O.
Here is it. When you are born your age is 1 years old. Then when you celebrate your real birthday you turn 2. But if you are born in January 1 (lunar day) you are automatically 2 when you are born. This the korean age.

@@jessicapierce3027 For me it was the opposite, I never intended to have a bias, at 45 years old, looks don't really play a role and perosnalitywise they are all great in different ways. But then after a while I couldn't fool myself anymore and had to admit to myself that Hobi is my bias. At first I thought it's because he's the dancer and I love dance. But after some thought I think that as a person with depression and enough stress on my hands with two kids, I would probably wanna be a happy person like Hobi, a person that can give out happiness so easily (even though I know he's a very serious person too) and laugh so much and hard, which wasn't really possible the years before. Thanks to BST I definitely have that now, these moments when I smile and laugh really hard.

Everything they want to say or convey they do it through their music. That's what is so amazing about them. Even it's about their love for their fans or a diss track about haters. My ultimate bias in Kpop is Jimin (main dancer and lead vocalist) aka Korea’s it boy he holds a special place in my heart, but also bias J-hope (rapper and main dancer) aka the sunshine. The rest of the members are my bias wreckers but to be honest Jungkook (main vocalist and lead dancer) bias wrecks me the most. There’s so many reasons that Jimin is my ultimate bias. His stage presence is out of this world. Literally a stage genius, king of stage presence, and king of dance. He is very charismatic and sexy on stage. I love Jimin’s facial expressions when he’s dancing. He has amazing dance lines they are irreplaceable. His dance moves are so fluid, smooth, elegant, and powerful. I love his voice. Has such a beautiful and unique voice. It’s so honey like, angelic, soothing, smooth, but can have an attractive sexy tone too. Most importantly his bright personality, he is very caring, thoughtful, supportive, comforting, and considerate to others and his members-an angle sent from heaven. Jimin is a happy pill to most army’s. He is very goofy and funny he always puts a smile on my face. Jimin is funny without even trying. Jimin is such a visual. He is so pretty, handsome, sexy, and cute all at the same time. His duality is unreal. J-hope as well always puts a smile on my face. I love his smile. He has such a bright smile that’s one of the reasons he’s known as the sunshine of the group. J-hope dances so smoothly, powerful, energetically, and I love it. I love that he always has a smile on his face when he’s dancing on stage. I feel in love with j-hopes rapping. I love his flow, and also his singing because even though he’s not a vocalist he actually is cause that man can also sing. I also love his personality as well. He is funny and friendly. He is very outgoing, loyal, trustworthy, and organized. Overall I love them all. Each member is unique in their own way, awesome, kind, caring, hardworking, and talented people. That’s why it was so difficult and took me awhile to pick a bias.

*Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with kpop.
Kpop ist a genre and bts are know for their great repertoire of genres.
Kpop is an industry in Korea, and not all singers/rappers/musicians in Korea are "kpop"
1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers
2. Bts compose and produce in all their albums, so is very personal, they talk about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc
3. They have a story behind their videos so is difficult to new people understand, we (the armys) used to read a books and study set, philosophy, psychology and mythology to understand. Their last album for example was "map of the soul: 7" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by Murray.
4. The army love them because they are good people who through a lot of bad things to be where they are now, and even being famous they stay humble.
5. They have a lot of genres but their base is very hiphop / rap. Also you can find subtitles in every possible language thanks to the fans, u only need to search with the name of the song or Activate cc.
**Bts always present themselves as a Korean group, and always said they don't want to be labeled in a genre or industry. The fans also do not want to be mixed with kpopers, (most of us aren't kpop fans) we don't have the same ideals.

If you’re looking for some of their more grittier stuff, I would recommend their Cypher series (4 parts) where they respond to their haters.
Jin is not so friend of telling dad jokes anymore (he said he already told all what he knew).
He still uses them while goofing around with the other guys. His jokes are based on wordplay that combines Korean, English and Japanese. I don't speak Korean, but I read an explanation to Jin's cow joke.
Cow in Korean sounds like "so", so he added the English word "song" to create "sosong", which is the Korean word for "lawsuit". So a "singing cow" is a lawsuit, and a "cow choir" is a "class act litigation".

In Korea, a baby is considered a year old when they are born, and they turn 2 at New Years. So you are 1-2 years older than your “western” age, depending on what time of the year you’re born. For example, Jin was born on December 4th, 1992, but on January 1st 1993, he’d have been considered 2 years old by Korean age, even though he’s less than a month old.
