Do you know if you can connect M9 on a phantom power?
Yes you can connect a external 48V phantom power if you need it, let's say connecting RODE NT1 A condenser mic. If you are using a bm 800 condenser mic, you don't really need it.

Bravo super clear review... I have V8 sound card for 2 years now. And because of your review I'm going to UPGRADE to M9. I think you need 48 volts phantom power to boost the condenser microphone. ARE you in Canada?

How many mics can you use max at one time? Can you use both condenser, dynamic and headset?
As per my test, headset mic will not work when condenser mic or dynamic mic is in use. You can connect 2 bm 800 mic and a dynamic mic at the same time but heads up for you bm 800 condenser mic is louder than dynamic mic if you used at the same time. Please note high end condenser mic usually needs an external 48V phantom power.

if youre using the dynamic mic, you should turn off the "denoise" so you cant experience cutting sound from it even if you are closer talking to the mic

Wow! In your previous video I watched today, on my request, you advised me to choose V9 over V300. Now that I have found this video, I think M9 is better. If you haven't reviewed any higher one, I will get M9 by tomorrow. Thanks.
Higher ones would be, K1, Maonocaster, A2 - all 3 of them I have reviewed already and are capable on recording or making customized sound effects while V300 pro, M9 or V9 can't do.

Just bought my kit tody but I have a challenge
Sound from the card is not being record in video to my phone.
Video is just muted yet I have tried to turn on all the possible mic permissions.
How will I have the vocals from the card recorded onto my phone video? I am confused
If you're recording to an iPhone or Android, most likely the issue is the adapter. If you are not using the right one, you can only hear but it will not record. I bought my adapter from the Apple Store. Are you using iOS or Android?

I found that when monitor is up on my V8 card the recording quality comes out better because I connect my card to stereo hi-fi with big cabinet speakers, and the sound from them is fed back to the micrrophones and adds up to your singing volume level would you agree? Do you also use high monitor settings for recording? Thanks
For recording I only use headphone or earphone as mic could pick up audio from the speaker which might result double audio.

Currently I do not have a K1 sound card so I can’t compare them yet.

I used a dynamic mic on this and noticed that the volume seems fluctuating while I'm singing. Is that normal with soundcards or could it be that I got a defective unit?
So far I have not experienced it yet but as per Droz advice from the message thread here - you can try turning off the Denoise if you are using a dynamic mic to avoid cutting sounds. I’m gonna try this as well
I bought M9 Sound Card after getting inspired from your videos they are cool videos , my M9 Audio cards Microphone sound is extremely low I cannot hear it in my headphones, I bought Rode Expensive Microphone please guide me I'm just a little upset, how can I take my Mic Sound higher??? If you bought the Rode Nt1A, you will need an external 48v Phantom power. I’m not familiar yet with other Rode mic if they need 48v Phantom power. If you have a bm 800 condenser mic (cheaper mic), it’s an electret mic so you don’t need a 48v Phantom power. If you are recording, Record volume knob has to be on high top have a loud recorded audio. If you connected an external speaker for home karaoke, Monitor volume slider has to be on high.

How u noticed something wrong like when u pronounce the letter S and u r recording it doesn’t cut? I just order different one and it does that I want to get a right one don’t want to return it again
I think the microphone does it and not the sound card. That happened to me when I was only using sound card and condenser mic. If my mouth is a bit far and not straight to the mic where I supposed to be facing. Not all but normally wherever is printed name/brand of the mic that’s where you should be facing. Try it.

Yes it works for android too. Maono lite or E2 are great. There is a new one and and I’m about to make a review on it hopefully this week- a bit more $$$ but in my opinion it’s worth it.

V9 sound card is great. If you are planning of buying an M9, in my opinion you rather buy a mixer as add on to your V9 to improve your audio.

Yes it is. Good to use a condenser mic. If you use a dynamic mic it will not be as powerful as condenser mic.
I have a v8 and plan to get this m9 bit get a separate phantom power for sure as it'll make it sound even more rich in tone and mic will pic you up further away as I use a phantom power with my v8

This gadget is equipped with many more knobs and effects than Simple V8 but could you explain how this is better as far as recording quality is concerned? I dont need all those voice changers in case I record from the guitar +sing. Having said that, I see it has LED green-red level displays which would help in setting up your mic potentiometers in case you cranked too high and the recording sound were to go into clipping, thanks for your explain
Just so you know M9 is built with plastic, as you said you want something solid.

I am not 100% sure. But as far as I know, the bluetooth feature is for background music. If you want to connect a wireless mic, connect the receiver to the mic port of the sound card.

Both of them are great. If you buy the M9, it has 6.35mm port which you can connect a dynamic mic or guitar. You can also connect dynamic or guitar to the K300, you just need an adapter. Now if you buy the K300 you can live stream up to 4 different devices with 2 mics plus the headset. With M9 you can live stream up 3 devices with 3 mics plus the headset. Both of them have lots of preset sound effects and voice changer and vocal effects.

maganda po ba sya pang karaoke pag may malaking speaker? ganyan pa rin po ba kaganda ang boses pag dynamic mic na gamit?
Para sa akin mas magana pong kumanta kapag malakas ang audio for karaoke. Opo gayan rin po ang audio ko so far using speaker. Kapag dynamic mic gamit ok rin naman pero tataasan nyo lang po ang mic volume, kumbaga using condenser mic nasa 50% na ang volume, sa dynamic baka 95% ang katapat na volume.
Can you also mute your self that you just hear the music?
This sound card has no direct monitoring like in Focusrite. In this sound card you will hear both vocals and music.

Yes you can. Connect the guitar to the dynamic mic input of the sound card then if you want to sing along connect a condenser mic to the MIC input of the sound card.

No Phantom power for electret condenser mic like Bm 800 mic. You will need phantom power to connect Rode NT1 A or Audio Technica 2020
You couldn't hear music or vocals when Elimination was selected.
It depends on the song. Some songs you are playing could somehow remove the vocals then people can sing along with it. But still instrumental or minus one or karaoke song are still the best to used for singing so the vocals and instrumental are clear.

Medyo matagal na rin po ito. Marami po ang features nito. Yon nga lang ang sound effects are fixed at d pwede palitan or mag add ng new ones. If you want to add/edit sound effects then go for A2, K1 or Maonocaster lite or c2 (few input at output nito)

Sounds right, but it matters if you use a laptop for live streaming or as a source for music. That’s why I’m asking

Wala po. Dpo ako bumili ng phantom power. Kontento na po ako sa tunog. Kapag kinabit sa big speaker, napakalakas naman po for karaoke. Kapag may separate video po ako sa gilid ng video - yan po ang audio recorded from the phone

May feature po ang M9 na wala sa F9. Yong play, pause forward , backward button- gamit po sya if halimbawa nagplay po kayo ng playlist ng music or karaoke sa you tube na nakaconnect sa M9- don nyo na po sa M9 press imbes na sa source ng music like phone or tablet. At may volume ang sound effect. Parang ang F9 fixed ang volume ng aound effects.

It’s not. BM 800 condenser mic works as it is an electret condenser mic that doesn’t have to be powered.
