the krays were just a couple of low-life, 2-bit thugs deserving of NO sympathy whatsoever. and the fact that their "neighborhood" continued to sympathize with them even after it was revealed all the violence, mayhem and murder they were responsible for just demonstrated how sick and twisted the "public" can be.
but I just couldn't get monty python's gangster skit out of my head as I watched this. the skit about the gangster that went around nailing people's heads to tables. even python's accents were spot on.

I have the entire series on dvd which also includes an obscure german special they made specifically for german tv. they all spoke german throughout and it even includes a german version of the lumberjack song.
oddly enough, one of my favorite episodes was produced during their final season, AFTER cleese left, called mr neutron. the entire episode followed that singular theme like a short film. the dog/spy just cracks me up!

Plenty of people came from that part of town, even grew up with them, and didn't become villains, all the kids they went to school with for instance.
They had a holiday home not far from here in Bildeston Suffolk, the local kids loved them as they put events on for them. Sorry English folk the twins were made by media and villains believed the B.S and where desperate to be close to them. The twins were actors in a movie they weren’t allowed to leave. Was Charlie frightened of the twins? From what I’ve read he was street smart, sensible and a people person. Did he not speak to them? It’s too late in retrospect to say “we’ve blown it”. Or was it the case that they didn’t listen to him? So many questions. Did Cornell actually have no fear of them and that’s why he was taken out?
Was it a slow decent into madness? Was it madness from the start? Why didn’t any of these other so called hard men “intervene and do something”? Mr. C. Kray was so street smart he got a very long sentence in prison. I do not believe he was any more frightened of his brothers than a normal person should be during the fifties and early sixties. But my guess is once the body count started to increase any normal person should be at least a little worried or afraid. Not afraid of the wayward brothers but for them.

People on here saying the Krays were nothing. The Krays ran the East End for years and most of the West End. If they were nothing they would have been forgotten about when they went inside in 69. Instead, they were so powerful that they still controlled things for over 20 years while in the nick. It’s fact.

When I had mentioned it to a very few close friends (Joe Esposito, Larry Geller) they did not think I was serious. I was tired of being Elvis Presley, my health was deteriorating. I just couldn't keep up. My finances were floundering because of my daddy's poor business ventures. I was at my wit's end. As the years progressed I had my ups and downs which are pretty well documented in other books. I also had two detectives from Colorado who I trusted immensely. Originally the date was 1976 according to my numerology charts but I chickened out. He asked if he could write a book, and I gave him my blessing. "If I Can Dream" is the title and I like his book. He had filled my head with spiritual thoughts and made me believe we could pull this off. If I had stayed longer I think I would have been booed off the stage. That is why I chose the date 8-16-77. Do you know how many famous people passed away on that date? The great Robert Johnson died on 8-16 and he was born in 1935! Babe Ruth, and Bela Lugosi and many others. I must say I was very nervous that day 8-16. But it had to be done before I went on the road where I would not have been able to pull it off. Did you know there are secret compartments in Graceland that very few people know about! A few like Vester would joke about my being alive but no one took him serious. Many of my friends would ask if I were still alive and they have their doubts but as it was I might have died broke and just a shell of myself. I was given an injection that looked like I was dead but the people closest to me knew better. Believe me I had my doubts that this could be pulled off. Ok.. so here is the deal.. I know how hard it is to believe that Elvis is still alive. But to be alive and to be a preacher too. Now that is going to far right? Well NO. Not if you remember how much he loved God and how he was raised. Pastor Bob is preaching because he was raised to love Jesus. Elvis and Bob have that in common. Here is the real issue that people have. To believe that Elvis is still alive means that you have to WAKE UP to the real reality of things. Not everything you see or hear is true. Most people are happy just living in a dream world of false reality. Waking up when you are enjoying your sleep is not fun. Just try and wake someone up sometime when they are really tired and sleeping well.. You may get a black eye. So it's ok. No hard feelings here. You can believe what ever you want. I chose to wake up and live in a different reality. One where Elvis never died because he wanted to actually live. Elvis had no life. He was a prisoner in his own home. He couldn't even go to the store without being mobbed. People tried to tear his cloths off his body. He was never able to be himself, he had to always be Elvis. Well he put Elvis to rest in 1977. He died so that he could live. Now after all this time, he wants the world to know that He didn't do this only for personal reasons. He did it because he had no other alternative. You see Jesus said.. "If you loose your life for my sake you shall find it." Elvis needed to get away from Elvis and become a regular man so he could concentrate on Jesus and heal. Elvis was under a tremendous amount of pressure. People idolized him as if he were a god. But there is only ONE GOD! Elvis is not him. God is God and man is man. We can not keep on idolizing men and women. We need to only idolize God. If there is anything in this world that Elvis would love to do, that would be to come back to the public eye as himself and re start his music, preach the gospel and just be BOB. Can we get a big Amen for Bob? Let me tell you something.. I sure wouldn't mind giving this wonderful man my blessing.. He sure does deserve it. After all he still is the greatest singer in history. The "King Of Rock n Roll" .. But in reality he is just a regular man like you and me that loves God and Music. Give him a chance folks. He has a message that will knock your socks off and potentially save this stinking world.

There is a duty to care. If he was a reporter or jounalist then they have some times a long established moral code. So if they arrive at the conclusion there are already three dead and he has evidence of who the murderer is. Then clearly he has a duty to report.
