It was definitely a close call 🤣 I'm just as mad about not catching the fish though. I definitely need to invest in some of those mounting rod holders for the pier
@@kinginkaay they seem to be catching alot of flounder on live finger mullets with that same rig I was using just drop it drown around the pilings up and down the pier if you can then just wait for a slight thump let it eat for a few seconds then set the hook!

@@kinginkaay they usually have mud minnows witch will work fine but mullet is just what's in the water right now
@@mountainstosurf are you able to catch the mullet and how?
@@kinginkaay usually with a cast net the best size would probably be about three inches
