Great video as always. Really useful to point out the logistics of the entrance plaza, good thinking. Ah we really do need to get to the zoo soon if they have got some Intamin boats there! :) The animals are pretty amazing too of course. Stevie spent most of this video saying “I love the painted dogs”, “I love the penguins”, “I love the...” haha. New pub is exciting!
Thanks, tried to think about what visitors who aren't regular zoo nerds like us might want to know. There's probably room to expand on it too. The boat ride is an Intamin Tow Boat... with the cable running the length of it. You can actually make out some of the giant wheels turning at some points. Makes for a peaceful way to travel, although you tend not to see too much if I'm honest. Worth a loop if it's quiet for the experience. They've had tour guides on it during opening year, but visit the zoo when we're there and we can do a half decent job of commentating it :D
They don’t have sloths in Chester zoo. I know this because I have been to this zoo loads of times and me and my mum have covered every enclosure and looked at the map and there is not a sloth enclosure
I love going to the zoo! The gazebo/sunroom addition will be so nice there.

He's a beauty isn't he.. We remember when he first arrived and was still quite small, he had a big lumbering head! It was cute to see.

It is yes, especially with the new borns. You do get quite attached... We've occasionally followed them to other collections too.
