These students are very brave, and willing to learn about history. If you do not learn from history, you will be doomed to repeat it.
Brave? Lmao what.
Exactly why jews are ruining the world today bc people dont know the truth
Calling people brave for nothing is going to make us repeat those horrible times!
Ergo Palestine?
Ergo Jews killing Gaza???
It is actually mandatory for every Bavarian student to have visited a concentracion camp at least once during their time in school. Every state handles it differently.
Really? I never went. My teacher just didn't want to ride the S-Bahn.
It´s not really mandatory. I know a guy that skipped the grade where he was supposed to go there and he wassn´t allowed to go with the year below.
I visited Neuengamme with my parents back in July. Very sweet staff who helped us navigate the camp. I wish to visit it again some day as I was in a rush that time.
In my state, RhinelandPfalz, it was required in the 11th year. I was 11 and we went to Dauchau. Im American, my family lived there for my parents jobs.
Thank you so much for sharing, especially for those who lost family.
Students should visit those places but only when they are already in highschool, preferably in the older classes, so that they are able of understanding and handling going there.
You Normaly visit it while in middle school
i was there (in neuengamme) with my class, back in the days. a absolute "have to", because its important history. no room for discution there. you cant fully grasp the thin by only watching docu or reading books... you gotta see it... gotta "smell" it.
Not only Germans, all the countries that were involved! It's crazy how many westerners don't believe it happened🤦♀️
I’m SHOCKED that this isn’t mandatory for school aged children.
Went to school in SH-H and we visited Berlin with all the historical sites eg Sachsenhausen KZ as well as the house where they held the Wannsee conference. Also all my history teachers were very interested in the entire subjects and partly were born / children during WW II. In May 1995 during the 50 year memorial anniversary of the VE day we had to watch all those 8mm films the American & British soldiers made for the German public to see. It was tough to watch at the age of 14, but having all of it as a subject in school time and time again incl all those visits etc. helps a great deal NOT to forget & to stand up to fight that it shall not happen again!
Germany is a bloody beacon of how you respond to your history's evils.
Well, it's always good to learn about history and learn from it, whether it's good or bad
What, no lampshades?
Best comment 🎉
Yes I agree this should be atleast offered for every school, also there English is so incredible truly the masters of being multilingual
Meanwhile in the Philippines: Move on!
No one is getting stuck here but history is history!!
@@YourpainRx I should've made myself clearer... "move on and not learn from history"
Powerful
In my school everyone needs to visit it, around 9th Grade
I thought it was mandatory. We visited Sachsenhausen with the whole grade and many other schools were there as well.
i was wondering what it's like for survivors of concentration camps.. in that there will not be many survivors left. most will have been babies stuck in such camps so i doubt there is any insight that can be given...
What do you mean? They show interviews. It's 2024, videos are a thing
@@ma-rl6ce eow. nect thing uou know, you'll be saying Germany is an actual place...
@@JJONNYREPP sorry captain obvious is your name, not mine...
One might think of it as a good idea and I knew kids their age there had hobbies like citing Irving and so on. You give them kids to read the "Wave" tho and the result may vary of what you 'd expect from that.
I think it should be mandatory for ALL people to visit these places
se englisch se german teacher schpeaks is brilliant! Perfect oxford englisch
TY for sharing 🙂✌️ 🙏♥️
Thanks for watching :)
It’s not only German every one should read history again nd again not juss there own history but the world history.
Their great grandparents played their part
I think it is should be mandatory because it is a part of history that we shall never forget
It absolutely should be mandatory. It must be mandatory that every student worldwide be taught the horrors and every german should be required to visit for a few reasons. It's not like they travel across the world. And it should go without speaking, so that history won't repeat itself. If i were closer, I'd have taken my kids. But texas is way too far. I did take my children to hear a survivor when they were pretty young bc they have to know about it. I'm pissed that schools don't really teach it anymore. My kids will know. And these students need to knowv
Yes they need to know what happened
Should be mandatory in Japan
Now show them the camp in Gaza
Arnold in Germany
The ho lo cast is already happening to Palestinians by israshit
You can give a part of your land to israshit if you feel so bad aboit the past
Well Israel was already jewish 3000 years ago and occupied by arabs. And in opposite to "Palestanians" (Arabs, mostly Egyptians just calling them a word that was simply used for the region all the time) they NEED a land since they were Killed by europeans, americans and arabs.
Would it be mandatory to visit GAZA too?..😏
I mean it's the biggest concentration camp in the world and it's still operational and all...
Not a valid comparison at all.
Visit kibutzs kfar aza, when your gazans burned families to a crisp after mutilating them.
People didn't 'die'. That hardly covers it.
Please bring this to FL. They dont seem to understand the importance and would say that this shouldn't be done because the first guy said it made him sad.
A lot of schools does that, so what?
So nothing??? They are just describing how it feels
More people need to go out and see with their eyes and bodies not read a book in doors that’s usually false anyway
Don't care !!
Stfu by the looks of it you cared enough to comment
@@Billyflintnock mate I’m pretty sure the thousands of people whose family’s where affected care
There's a lot they will never be taught.
So what’s happening in China right now with Muslims?
Aye Karlsruhe!
Visit Gaza, it's a live concentration camp.
Define a concentration camp
ah men how this happen? can you imagine that those all innocent people killed by your grandfathers?
Its not his fault.
Try visiting Gaza.
At least they can all concentrate there!
BS
A german in a camp : I feel german😂
It should be required-especially given German history in starting two World Wars.
Americans should require the same or similar lessons vis-vis Slavery in America.
Germany didn't start ww1 mate
@@caroskaffee3052 Germany was allied with Austria-Hungary; all the same lands Germany invaded in WWII. SSDD.
@@Swimdeep ehm...so by that logic italy started ww2? it's not about being allies buddy. the german emperor didn't want the great war
@@Swimdeep SSDD?
Dragged MILLIONS to a brutal violet death, raped , pillaged, murdered, tortured beyond anything known previously, but no we won’t even have are kids at least go to basically a museum. Disgusting and embarrassing Germany. Bless these kids and the rest who swear to not let history repeat.
You're American???
brave coming from an american
If I need to know I will educate myself thanks forcing people like that isn’t democratic and it’s the wrong approach especially now with the Israeli war!
The Propaganda never ends!
Explain, please!
It’s the gift that keeps on giving
We didn't see the big picture. We attacked and destroyed the forces working to save Western civilization, and rescued the perpetrators, allowing them to successfully seed the cultural degeneracy, homosexuality, transgenderism, Marxist ideology, and slow wh ite genocide through diversity and mass third world immigration.
Patton realized this too, and stayed in 1945: "we fought the wrong enemy. We should have fought with the fascists against the communists and not the other way around."
well yeah this is still happening. look at meat, dairy and egg industries.
Did you just compare a mass genocide to eggs?
Glad they’re killing those cows to feed us.
@@vanillae91819 well they're the same. watch this: "Why the egg industry shreds newborn baby chicks"
@@lesgibson969 poor you
@@lesgibson969 Not comparable to the genocide of millions.
What is David's Instagram?,

Garbage
There should be no Germany the country should’ve been re named SHAME … that way the world would truly never forget…..
What an intelligent contribution.
You're American?
@@Freiya2011 I’m sorry but if the murder of 12 million people isn’t enough to wipe off the name of a country that condoned it, then really don’t know what is…. I mean before that it was Prussia so ??? I think Shame would comfort a lot of Jewish people in the world… because we never ever want to forget what happened
@@thesay5663 nor are the Jews supposed to forget - as well as German homosexuals, German Sinti and Roma, German "antisocials", German politicals, German disabled people and the millions of Russian, French, British, American, Belgian, ... soldiers and people are not supposed to forget nor will they be forgotten. Germany does a lot so that they are not forgotten, that this short but extremely horrible period of history is kept in public memory.
What you mean, is that you endorse the Mogerntau Plan, look t o what caused the war, in fact what causes all wars.
