Prayers for all priests and monks, etc... we must keep the faith alive, at whatever cost. God be praised!!! I love how as the meal is done; a reader reads scripture... part of my liking of Mass.
Rule of St Benedict Ch42: 'Monks should be silent at all times but especially at night. This should always be the rule whether it is a feast day or not.'
The Benedictine monks closest to Malaysia seem to be in Vietnam and the Philippines. Their monasteries are technically "priories", meaning they're smaller and relatively new. The nearest monastery that is a full-grown "abbey", similar to the one in this video, seems to be in Hue, Vietnam. The next closest abbeys seem to be in Australia
Perhaps a bit of projection happening here with your comment. On the other hand; monastic life doesn't make anyone holier, but I'm not sure if these guys believe that.
Of course God exists, and I'm positive they do. Thats why there' a period before 'going all in' where one sees if this life God is truly calling them to. If not, that's okay, but its God who is calling each heart to be His. These guys probably have more faith than some of America' largest cities.
Novus Ordo Beneditctine monks. No Traditional monks of Our Catholic Faith here. Turn to True Monastic Benedictine Community Like the Abbey of the abbyoffontgomabault, France. Then you have a True Orthodox Benedictine Community that follows the strict Rule of Saint Benedict.
The best 14 minutes of my day. God bless you brothers.

In spite of the monastic life that they live, I wonder if anyone of them is certain or convinced that God really exists.

Why does that matter. Its the intent behind actions thats significant.

Doubt and questioning our faith is something every Catholic deals with at one point or another.
@@danielbroache Gods or God is about irrational belief and groundless hope.Wake up!
