Buying a Harley Davidson is equivalent to buying any Chrysler product (i.e., Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and the former Plymouth)! They are literally THE MOST EXPENSIVE vehicles to own, maintain, and repair! Their "Cost of Ownership" is extremely HIGH! Why? Because they are NOT DESIGNED to be "Solid, Well-Built, Dependable, Long-Lasting" vehicles! They are "DESIGNED" to Break Down for a purpose! They are "DESIGNED" to create "Repeat Customers" who have to keep coming back to "Buy More" and "Fill Their Pockets" with "Your Money!" They are "DESIGNED" to keep making you spend your money on them, whether it be for parts, repairs, maintenance, or accessories! Ask any Harley owner, what the "H.D." stands for, and they'll tell you "Hundred Dollars!" Oh yes, they're nice... but they're NOT cheap to own! Because there is very little, IF ANYTHING, that you can buy for your Harley that costs less than "A Hundred Dollars!" And even in the rare instances that a part costs less than a Hundred Dollars, the "labor" to put that part in is going to bring that cost well over a Hundred Dollars, if not several Hundred Dollars! The whole point in buying any vehicle (motorcycle, car, truck, van, buss, boat, plane, etc.) is to have a vehicle that "meets your needs!" That vehicle must "do what you need it to do!" And you don't want it to cost you an arm and a leg to do it! Either "you need" it to take you to and from work, school, shopping, etc., OR "you need" it to give you pleasure and enjoyment out of life by "riding it." It's not about "the Destination" for most bikers, it's about "the Journey!" The "whole reason" that I ride a motorcycle, is because I love how it makes me feel when I'm cruising down the road with the wind in my face! It gives me a feeling of "Freedom" and it "Relaxes me" and drastically reduces the "stress" that life has a way of bringing into our worlds! And when you're enjoying that beautiful ride, there is nothing worse to "screw up your day" than to have the unnecessarily added "stress" of "breaking down" in the middle of that ride, and all of the stress and expense that comes with breaking down! Or worse yet, having an accident caused by the breakdown! That can really screw up your day! I want vehicles that are "Solid, Well-Built, Dependable, and Long Lasting," not only so that I can get "the most bang for my buck" but also so, that I can get "the most Pleasure out of life" by doing what I really love doing! And I Love riding my motorcycle. I don't really like having to work on it, or cleaning it, although sometimes we must do those things! But what I really like is getting on it and riding it and knowing that my bike is going to take me there and bring me back home without any problems! That's why I buy motorcycles and cars that are better built, and built to last, so that I won't "break down" along the way, and I won't have to deal with the stress and expense of towing, parts & labor, time without my vehicle, and sometimes even having to spend more money on hotels and meals, or time in a hospital or morgue! Have you ever heard of "the Harley death wobble?" How come it is primarily only "Harley's" that have a problem with a "death wobble?" Something to think about!
I mean I'm not going to lie, I want to go over that in a barrel. Air ride is for trucks, not bikes! You had me worried, I thought my bike broke down lol Take care of my new baby!

@@johnholbrook6042 Another one of those computer modes that doesn’t leave a code so the “technicians” can’t figure out what they need to fix!!! It’s too bad that nearly every new vehicle requires a computer to tell mechanics what needs to be fixed; except when the little computer in the vehicle goes stupid!!! I had an issue with an ‘03 F-150 where it’d stall out at traffic lights after I had driven it for roughly an hour. Took it to two or three different Ford stealerships and none of them could replicate the issue and the computer didn’t store any codes!!! Turned out that the transmission failed a few months later because the “fault” the stealerships couldn’t find was a failure in the front pump in the transmission!!! Apparently, Ford didn’t have sensors in the transmission that would indicate such failures!
@valhala56 Tell that to Professional Monkey!!! He had an Indian motorcycle that was an constant pain in the ass with mechanical issues which the mechanics couldn’t fix!!’ Brand new motorcycle when he owned it and they couldn’t figure out what the issue was that was continually failing!

I’ve heard that too!!!
I’ve been to the American side of Niagara Falls, but I haven’t been to the Canadian side yet!
@@AzzKicker-bz1cb yes, the Canadian side has a big Ferris well lots of places to eat a Casino arcades. It’s really awesome if you ever get the chance to go go there.
Harleys are crap, ride an Indian motorcyle. If you want power and reliability.
I also love my Indian - im just a motorcycle lover. period 💯
My new Heritage goes into limp mode when it rains. Can not get dealer to address the issue. Guess there isn't much they know to do about it.

Another one of those computer modes that doesn’t leave a code so the “technicians” can’t figure out what they need to fix!!!
@valhala56
Tell that to Professional Monkey!!!
He had an Indian motorcycle that was an constant pain in the ass with mechanical issues which the mechanics couldn’t fix!!’
Brand new motorcycle when he owned it and they couldn’t figure out what the issue was that was continually failing!
Missed you this year. Tried to catch you. I wasn’t ready yet.
hopefully youll be ready when we cross paths again 👊🏼
