It’s okay! Ballet is extremely hard. You watch professionals do it and you think it looks easy but ballet is a thing the saying “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover” definitely applies too. I’ve been in ballet for longer then I can remember and I still struggle with things like flexibility. So really it depends on things you have to work on. I understand you’re reasoning for not wanting to though.
I went to school with a ballerina (well, a few) but one stood out the most. She was incredibly beautiful in every single way. Had the most perfect hair and facial features of a model. She also has a heart of gold and was kind to everyone. I remember her giving me advice about my first relationship at the time and really lifting me up when my boyfriend was bringing me down. Sadly we lost touch over the years, but I hear she's a ballet teacher now, which is amazing. Her students are so lucky ❤ She really is one in a million. Not many people shine the way she does.
Sounds like one of my favourite teachers growing up :) I used to do ballet when I was younger and my teacher looked like something out of a fairytale book - tall, blonde, slim and big blue eyes. She was also so kind and patient. I only remember her losing her temper a couple of times in the 10 years we had her as a teacher. I haven't seen her in a long time but have no doubt she's giving other students joy :)
You're a heart of gold youself btw, people do not necessarily love such people (because of envy of coarse) though they deserve love and need it. You're great to have such a kind heart! ❤
The way the teaching is done here.... there is no shouting, no fear, no abuse. I learned ballet was scary at 5 years old with a horrible teacher and unfortunately, I also had a dance teacher in high school who also didn't display much humanity. Watching these has helped me view my experiences differently and I'm so happy for these young people who get to have (what appears to be) such a positive, affirming experience as they work on their skills.
I've been watching these videos for a bit now and the thing that always sticks out for me is not just the incredible standard of the dancing but the joy and humour the girls and their teacher exude. It always draws a contrast in my mind with David Kinsella's A Beautiful Tragedy where the dancers have anxious, pinched faces and some of them openly crying in class while their teacher belittles and berates them. MBA clearly proves that this absolutely does not have to happen in order to produce the most extraordinary dancers.
Absolutely! You can get a lot better results using compassion and praise. Your students will actually look forward to coming to class and to learn from you
@@BabyBlueJinxyPoo that’s a way to break someone’s confidence in starting ballet. You do realise this person has been influenced by this video and that is totally ok, they just have to get more research.

I have been doing ballet for over 10 years and started when I was 8. The school I dance at is far from professional and the lessons are more for fun, so I don’t dance at a high level or anything. We hardly ever dance on pointe or stretch in class. So I cannot lift my legs any higher than 90 degrees, I can not dance on point and I can’t even do a dubble pirouette (maybe on a good day lol). Don’t get me wrong, I dance because I love it and I’ve always enjoyed the lessons, but seeing this makes me wonder how much better my dancing could have been if I had different training. These dancers are incredible and I hope to dance like them one day❤
My dance classes (started when I was 4 years old) were not "Russian Ballerina" strict, but it sure wasn't lax either! We all wore the exact same outfits. We were expected to be in our leotard, tights, and shoes at least 1/2 an hour prior to the start of class. Then the rest of that half hour was for stretching on your own. The 1st hour of class was all Barre work. The last half hour was floor work. We were taught classical ballet. [It's pronounced "pa de sha" NOT "po de chat"!!] She carried a little stick that she would use to tap different parts of our body that we were not holding correctly. I danced with the same teacher from 4 years old until I was 16 years old. When I was 19, I joined a small group that danced modern ballet. As much as I had the desire to be a Prima Ballerina, my body is much better suited to modern ballet. I continued to dance modern ballet through my early 40s when I was forced to stop all dance due to a nerve problem. I was NEVER a GOOD dancer, but I LOVED dancing! No matter how you've been trained, nor if you attend a professional school or just a small dance class, you just dance if that is what you enjoy! Your enjoyment will shine through, and others will share your joy when you dance!
So, so grateful Mom (yes mom made me) study ballet seriously. Demanding and physically painful sometimes (if u don't practice every day -u hurt), but ladies I got a great WALK. With heels 👠 at 70 yrs old. Posture is straight, can still touch toes and pick up heavy loads. ALL is bc I keep up with ballet exercises. And most importantly, ballet makes u feel FREE ❤
Cried my whole life after the accident I had that restricted me on not dancing anymore. Today, looking at the ballerinas, I am happy. How much suffering and work for such a short period! Not everyone is Margot Fontaine!
I am so sorry you were forced to stop dancing. I was also forced to stop, but that was in my early 40s. I learned that if I keep my movements small and easy (even just sitting in a chair), moving to music, I can still "dance", but I definitely can no longer perform. Just being able to move to the music warms my heart.
I would love to be a ballerina, but I am scared because I might be judged by others for not doing moved very good, like for example I fail to do a pirouette and I get judged by others for it
I used to be a ballerina, and I missed it so much. I’ve been doing it for about 9 years but had to give it up. I notice how my grades were dropping and that wasn’t okay. I quit dancing after a while to focus on my studies. Now I stand at the top ten in my school and graduating as the president of the student council, past vice president of the student council. Student of the month, and much more. In a math club who participated in a competition and won 1st place and much more. I miss dancing, maybe in the future when I know I can balance both dance and school together I’ll start over.
I have a similar story except I suck at academics. I had to quit dance after 10 years, because I was falling behind in school, though after I quit, my grades kept sliding. I wasn’t given the academic accommodations I needed until college, and didn’t find out that I actually have a reading comprehension disability and ADHD, until age 22 when I was required to get a psycho-educational assessment done in order to be allowed accommodations in college. At the start of high school, my parents for whatever reason allowed me to take dance classes again (despite my grades being worse than before), but this around I did ballroom dance, and at the same studio as my parents (they were looking for a hobby to do together). I can’t tell if I miss contemporary or ballroom dancing, more, although I know I wanted to eventually compete in ballroom.

I always get sad when I see these videos because I used to dance and it was always my dream to perform on stage. I just always loved how people admire you while you’re on stage because I used to be a very very self conscious kid. Whenever I’m on stage I feel so confident. After I moved houses, I stopped dancing because I was too busy. I regret so much and I sometimes cry when I see these videos and think “that could’ve been me.” My younger self would hate me so much but now.😐
The school I went to didn't offer ballet (or any dance program for that matter), so all dance was extra-curricular. There was a mass shortage of male dancers. One of the teachers put an ad in the college paper reading, "Learn How to Pickup Women"! He got a lot of fellows showing up. Some actually stayed even after they realized that the ad was serious! That teacher taught partnering!
I think I’m going to start contemporary dance first and then ballet bc right now I don’t have the right body for doing ballet😢 Do you think I'm too old to start all these kinds of dances?😢
@@ArmySoul-le7jo I started last year, I joined a company for my school and we do all sorts of dances. Between you and me, contemporary is one of the most fun because you have a lot of freedom in your movements, unlike the strict rules of ballet.

This does make me a bit sad. I always wished I could be a dancer, but I had a really bad experience with my first ballet teacher and I let her stop me from continuing. *sigh* Too old for it now, but if anyone young enough reads this, don't let shitty people keep you from doing something you love. They move on and you get to live with the regret.
The same happened to me. Started dancing at 5, quit at 13 because the environment was so toxic. It was awful, both teachers and students. The blatant favouritism and the bratty attitudes. I wasn’t tall or skinny or the best dancer, so therefore not worth their time. It’s a shame because I really loved the dancing. The outfits made me feel so pretty :(

Loved all but the girl who was cracking everyone's back because she can actually cause damage to the vertebrae, spinal cord and the nerves because she hasn't been trained to be a chiropractor and even chiropractors can cause damage if they do something wrong. It's easy to damage the nerves that stick out from both sides of the spine. I am I credibly lucky that I am not paralyzed from my neck down because of the damage done by the chiropractor I went to for relief from my chronic back pain because my former doctor couldn't have cared less about what I was dealing with because he didn't believe me. I had to force him to order an MRI which showed that I had multiple spinal cord injuries and severe nerve damage. I was literally1 wrong move away from death or becoming a quadriplegic on a respirator for the rest of my life. My Neurosurgeon told us this after my first surgery.

@@ArmySoul-le7jo I started last year, I joined a company for my school and we do all sorts of dances. Between you and me, contemporary is one of the most fun because you have a lot of freedom in your movements, unlike the strict rules of ballet.
@@Selachii_Gacha thank youuu for answer me
Thank you for including the littles!!❤🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰🩰🩰
The fish hop was so pretty ❤❤❤❤❤❤I watched it over and over
That was so entertaining! and yes I definitely want to go on pointe now
I can’t ever not watch a video by Eva if they pop up on my page! Love every single one of them! 🫶
I mean i am already a ballerina- BUT THEY DO THEIR PIROUETTES SO GOOD
Precioso todo el ensayo, es un gran elenco de Ballet. Muchad Felicidades. Éxitos Bailarines y prefesores de Ballet. Felicidadessss 😊😊😊

2.16 Wow! Amazing!
I love Melanie's turns and dancing! But am I the only one who noticed how incredibly red her hand got after her turns?
All the blood rushes to the hands😅
I started when I was 3 then had to end due to school I started again now and I'm almost going to wear pointe shoes😭‼️
Instructions unclear; my foot just started forming blisters out of nowhere
I just now learned that Slawomir is polish and I'm so happy😂
I am most definitely already a ballerina and all I see behind these isn't only the beauty but also the incredible pain and trauma it took to get there..💀😭
The rat part is my favorite
Your videos make me wanna start ballet. I’ve taken a summer class to see if I would like dance genres and ballet is awesome!!! ❤
The best thing about this video is the fact that I'm a ballerina
i did ballet when i was little, it's been my dream since i was little to go on pointe and perform as a swan . i still havent, but for my birthday im going to ask my mom! im so excited for getting into lessons.
How many brilliances wusooooooo🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
At 1:22 ?? That fish flop was so sickk!!!
8:19 Mmm.... maybe theres context missing but i feel like the lady at the phone booth wasnt being that bad, she asked if she could take just 1 photo ? I wouldve let her, felt like you were the one actually being alittle abrasive right in the beginning unnecessarily.....
Also i thought that 1 Melanie girls names was Melania ??? Not Melanie??
In the actual tiktok of the phone booth video the comments definitely roasted Eva and Amber for hogging the phone booth. At least she had the balls to keep the vid and comments up 😅
0:11 good teacher.
Melania is just marvelous!
6:29 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓
8:22 that tourist group was so rude to you guys, there are phone booths all over London go somewhere else ffs
Tessa amber and Melanie and Jackson is my favs
Profesor is my spirit animal fr
2:10 is amazing!
Elbow stand girl definitely drew the short straw.
oh girl since the first ballt tiktok from you i saw i wanted to be a ballerina… and after being hyperobsessed with ballet for a bit now im actually going to start taking ballet classes even tho im 18 🥹🥹
The outfits made me feel so pretty :(
My mom signed me up right after this video. I’m so happy I get to do it.😂😂😂😂
Wow! How are you liking it?
I’m in ballet and have been for nearly 15ish years now and I still love it.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 perfect!!!
“Why are you wearing an Sab shirt?” “Bc I own it”
The fact I did ballet when I was 4 it was so fun but hard until I had to quit now 6 years after I began starting again🎉
I do ballet and im grade 7!I have pointe shoes already but for anyone that wants to do ballet,I do NOT recommend it although it can be very fun it can also be super hard and painful plus you’ll need to train almost 6hours a day if your going for an exam or competition
I miss my days in dance classes!
Love your videos! They are all so amazing and talented! Such Grace ❤
Haha well I already am, but that doesn't stop me from wishing that I could do what they can do lol 😂
