@@judithcervizzi6609 If you watched this video or any other about the bean diet, you'll learn that the fiber in vegetables are mostly insoluble while the fiber in beans are mostly soluble. All these wonderful benefits they are talking about are from the unique soluble fiber. Beans are the richest source of soluble fiber. She said you'd have to eat bowls of oatmeal to reach the amount of SF that is in a serving of beans. Watch a video called "Healing your body with beans Karen Hurd nutritionist and biochemist", she's interviewed by a long haired guy. Karen is the inventor of the bean protocol and she explains clearly how soluble fiber binds with bile carrying out the fat soluble toxins and excess hormones out of your body in the form of bowel movements. Believe me. About the gas...if you don't have the bean digesting bacteria in you (because you never or rarely eat beans), you'll get a lot of gas at first. As you keep eating beans often, the bean digesting bacteria will grow in you and you'll eventually have no problem. I'm from South America, grew up eating beans and never had gas from it. A few years ago, I did the keto diet for several months (no beans allowed in that diet), and that killed my bean digesting bacteria. When I started eating beans again, I had so much gas! It took me several months of eating beans regularly to re-grow my bean digesting bacteria, and now I'm back to digesting beans perfectly, with NO gas.
Loved this interview. More people need to learn about the POWER beans and fiberus foods have. Thanks for sharing this awesome truth. Have the best day ever everyone. 😎
If you eat garlic and are having gas your sulfur pathway is backed up and taking the mineral molybdenum for 5 days should help clear that pathway. Ben Lynch has stuff on this
Hey great story! I think I have some sort of malabsorption, but I’m not loosing weight due to PCOS insulin resistance. And I’m menopause now. I am going to do beans maybe once a day and the other fiber Karen mentions before the other two meals. where did you get your training? Thx!!
Add some Inulin FOS made from Jerusalem artichokes. It dissolves in water. It is a probiotic fiber. Amazon has it. Make sure the ingredient label says it is pure, no fillers. Inulin and FOS are two components and you need both. Amazon titles are not reliable. Inulin FOS help bacteria that eat fiber grow. Good luck!
How is it going? Did it help? I’m starting the bean protocol today. I’m in menopause too and fatigue and brain stuff are the biggest issues. I hope this helps heal my colon.
What about someone dealing with histamine issues and mast cell activation syndrome, i can not tolerate 50 g of red lentils, i tried different types of beans, they put my histamine through the roof with causes gut issues which i am trying to resolve in the first place, i am doing a high fruit and veggies diet with some eggs and white rice, but i still need more nutrient dense foods like beans, how to do it right?
@@jellybeanvinkler4878i did high fiber keto for 5 yrs. Then I suffered sometype of bizarre post viral intestinal illness Im still healing from. On Dr Goldners plan now hoping to heal microbiome/brain and eventually eat beans again Lord willing 🙏🏼 Its a legit miracle i can eat several vegetables again.

It is SO true, the more we eat beans the better we can digest them. I can literally eat any legumes now, in big amounts, and virtually no gas.
Too many carbs. Get your fiber from vegetables.

do you have to eat the beans without fat for this protocol?
@@TermiNader5 I don’t know. I’m not doing the protocol, just found these videos extremely interesting.

What type of beans did she use specifically?

How about acacia fiber like Heathers Tummy Fiber? Is that like psyllium husk? They all detox, yes?
@@CalmVibesVeeKaren Hurd says it has to be beans or psyllium husk, that the other fiber supplements do not work.
Brown rice is good too, eapecially with the beans, do you like brown rice?

Start with a tsp per day maybe
black soybean natto or yellow soybean natto are very good on digestion
Have you tried home canning beans? I think it's the best of both worlds as far as bean preparation goes.
So what does beans do if you want to stay in ketosis?
Keto has obviously been hurting us or we would not be here. We need fiber to get well.
@@amcken I don't think we need beans just fibrous veggies.
The beans or psyllium are necessary as they have the soluble fibre and therefore the capacity to bind the toxic bile

I keep reading about people having complete remission of Crohn’s with the carnivore diet, it’s worth a try if all else fails
No it is not worth it. Other better way to get rid of it.
@@1sr0Agreed. Carnivore helped me at first but then it introduced more problems. Tachycardia, arythmia, low energy, stress, sleeplessness, etc.
Carnivore is like coffee first high and then super low
