This is soul destroying but at the same point very informative, thank you both for sharing , it makes it a bit easier if I dare say for others to come forward and speak their truth. Your truth is very relatable, I’ve been questioned because of how protective I am but people don’t come with I’m a wrongen tattooed on their forehead . It’s not easy to overcome, I don’t think it’s not something anyone gets over, we heal somewhat through knowing we aren’t the only ones . If that makes any sense . I’ve been labelled with CPTSD, it’s so tiring watching out for the dangers but at the same point it is what it is . Again , thank you .

Wow! Wasn't expecting a couple of things. Yammy is a natural interviewer.
I'm an experienced trauma informed counselor and Yammy shows the big 3 important qualities of 1- Advanced Empathy.
    2- Unconditional positive regard.
3- Active listening including paraphrasing back what Paul was saying.
These are all a prerequisite for this type of delicate subject matter such as sexual abuse and other adverse childhood experiences.
A very intelligent and articulate man is Yammy, and more importantly a good hearted soul too.
As for Paul, I am conscious he was a violent man and a career criminal most of his life, but again what a lovely self reflective and honest account of what made him who he is.
Everyone ages and gets wiser hopefully, and I feel Pauls best years are now ahead of him, irrespective of his advancing years. He is exorcising his demons and I know it's a cliché but the truth does set you free.
Good luck in future with the grandkids Paul.
And Yammy, not only am I subscribing to your channel now but get yourself enrolled onto an open university or college course and advance your learning.
The counselling and psychotherapy world is made for you.

@@yammybtv ...Wish both you and Paul best wishes in the future. Tony Argent too while I mention it. Another fella who comes across well.
Just a last little observation Yammy, I noticed both you and Paul are switched on and clock everything even when immersed in conversation.
      I can explain that.
Both being survivors of childhood sexual abuse, you will both be hyper vigilant to atmospheric changes and there is a thing called 'field conflict' theory where people who have maybe been exposed to traumas such as a soldier in a war zone (or in your case Jail or the children's home) can't walk through the woods and hear birdsong, but instead they hear twigs breaking and wonder if someone is going to jump out, or another example is going into a restaurant or bar and choosing a seat with your back to a wall and can watch everything in front of you.(plus being aware of the exit location)
These are things that could be a lot of shite for linking it to you or Paul or Tony but like I say, it's just a generic assumption. 😂

Fairplay to you talkin about this takes a strong man or woman because some people domt talk about it and it eats them up ive been through things not like that but ive seen things that young kids shouldnt see and that was bad enough so l feel you pal ❤❤

Love the way Paul has no ego at all.Too many people have been effected by violence seen at a young age and have anger built up by sexual abuse.
We need to change our sentencing to keep these people away from our beloved children and allow them to grow up happy.
It’s been a long road for Paul and Yammy but I really hope they find the contentment they deserve - stay safe and away from crime and ensure you get that reward
