@Veterans With Anxiety Hope all is good, with you, it appears so. He is lucky to have you apart of his support group. It is hard seeing someone at their lowest, especially a young veteran, Being cut off cold turkey wtihout CLEAR communication of the treatment plan is negligent and cruel. It destroys any trust or rapport that someone has with the clinicians and puts them at high risk to find relief from the insufferable withdrawls and OD'ing. I get that jails won't do it and are generally inhumane, but I would expect it to be different in this case, as it is what you are there for. Your brain stops making dopamine and other endorphins when on drugs like stims and opiates. From my experience, those places don't treat you like an equal human and are obviously understaffed. My medicine has been on backorder often, which has been pretty rough, so it is possibly they had a shortage. I doubt it though. Hope he has a speedy and strong recovery,. Thank you guys for your service.

Hey daniel! how it going? its been a long time since I posted a message its mark from the uk. I hope your doing well. Your stories resonate hugely to my past behaviours and life style. Your videos are an important tool for the uninformed to understand the nature and hell assosiated with substance misuse, and to show recovery is possible. Evan, stay strong. Having been in recovery in a proffesional setting 5 times shows strength not a weakness, and to do a podcast with Daniel when your probably feel like shit takes balls. Im 44 and have b.p.d. Ive been addicted to heroin etc countless times. Im currently on the waiting list to start d.b.t. Perhaps whilst in rehab you could ask to try it. Anyway Evan, stay strong and Daniel keep up the good work destigmatising an often frowned upon disease, and opening the eyes of the ignorant.

they fucked his script up and are mad strict about that drug around here so they made him go without unfortunately which is really messed up

It would be cool if you did a channel that was you interviewing drug addicts, recovering drug addicts, prostitutes, just everyone in the streets, and you could even try to help people get into sober living homes and detox. Track people down and try to get them on the right path, like this channel soft white underbelly, or even the dope sick show that use to be on tv lol. Goodluck with the channel bro
