This song is 22 frigging years old and still fresh as it was back then! What an amazing track...so glad I had the opportunity to experience the best years of progressive house! I'll never forget the clubs and the atmosphere that went with them!
Just searching through old tunes and remember Tom & Jerry ( French DJ's Prod's ) dropping this at the end of an all nighter in the back room at Cream. I first heard it the week previous and it was in my mind hoping somebody would play it. Fantastic end to a Fantastic night. Absolute Choon.
I 1st listened to this track on a Bose Lifestyle 5.1 surround system. It was on a Renaissance CD by Sasha and John Digweed. The breakdown was unbelievable. The vocals and bass on the build up came at me from the front and physically rose above my head and dropped into the centre of my skull. I’ve never experienced a sonic equivalent to this day. Still a classic.
Ahhhhh, echoes of John Digweed sets from 1994. Awesome tune. Hairs standing on end, increase in heart rate+eyes closed..... And that's just listening to it straight. Wicked upload. A classic tune.
Bruce wilcox use to open up the Edge in Fort Lauderdale with this track, damm where's my fucking time machine.....the pills, cereal box back packs, the girls, the whole fucking scene. ....much love In those days...
First heard this back on the Renaissance 2 album back in the mid 90's. Can't remember what I was doing but I think this worked out to be about track 5 or 6 on disk 3. I think I might have been decorating but I know when that drop kicks in I didn't give a fuck what I was painting, and it got finished in half the time. Absolute classic
definitely a big choon in the Midlands this one, I was at Uni in Derby and used to go to Moneypenny's, Wobble, Renaissance was in Derby for a while too, screwed up, and very happy memories, late nights merging into Sunday mornings not wanting it to stop! Well it did, married with kids now!!!!!!
8 people either pressed the wrong hand in error, or they never felt this tune vibrating through them back in the day. This tune still gives my ears a hard on after 23 years. Love it!
One of those tracks you have to listen to it when you come across it....it builds and builds and then just breaks likes no other and turns into an absolute monster. I would have given anything to hear this track in a club....feels like a complete travesty than I never heard it in anger. Still an amazing track! :D
This has been my favourite house tune since I first heard it back in '97 from Diggers' Renaissance mix. I know someone who says they rushed on their first pill to this tune. Imagine that!
2 at the time were this! and Elevator Man “Funk & Drive” check it out ;-)… in fact loads were bangers back in the day! Digweed & Sasha were playing them all.
Anyone selling their vinyl collection like this? These digz beats on 3 decks are my life - literally I still try to relive the fever/ultra world/buzzlife/twilo days. How can I get promos to play for others?
Yes it is rather good hey! Believe it or not John (Quivver) is sitting right next to me now but dont know what I am typing this and would kill me so sushhhh! However still going strong check out 'yeah yeah' and 'orgazoid' on bedrock
