Darin Arrowood here - Good God - I'm not sure sure how anyone could produce something so immediately enticing - this track is in my top choices of the best of dance music tracks on the planet. Blue Amazon, I don't know what planet they came from but they knew how to turn it completely out. Unbelievable - I played this for crowds of thousands in the 90's and it was just always out of control. Respect!
I’m 58 sitting in the sun with my headphones on . My trusty dog sat by my feet in the shade . On my 3rd pint of Bacardi and coke 😂. This track introduced me into the progressive dance scene in the 90s. I taped this from Pete tong’s essential selections at 2am in the morning and played it on repeat until 4am. So many great tunes have been released since then , but this 11:12 tune is my root, I wish I could share with you my journey from its release. Make the most of your life and opportunities, sometimes you only get one chance of what is put in front of you. See you all after the rainfall ❤ 12:1112:13
It's hard to think now that the depth of the trance classics that came out from 1996-2003 was so remarkable that absolute gems like this weren't even bigger than they were. Every week there were so many new amazing tunes to check out back then.
Here in 2022 for another morning listen :) I feel so fortunate to have been at the age I was in the mid to late 90’s to have experienced the peak of electronic music. Golden. Timeless. Class.
Blue Amazon were absolutely top drawer back in the day. I think they had a load of their gear stolen in Amsterdam.......... Peak of the prog that era.....
I remember hanging out in a record store in Stanford Ca. At the mall listening to this on the new fangled cd track samplers. Popped on the headphones, chose this track, got chills. Bought my very first CD.
Just like reading a book chapter and verse ..bought this on CD in Croydon Surrey GB Virgin MG Store .... day of release ... and still one of the best progressive trance tunes of all time and even now 2019 still sounds fresh as ever .. from Front to Back as a book is read
Absolute classic track. One of these we could mix in on vinyl go for a shit and come back and mix out. All before CD-R’s and sync buttons became the norm
Hello twin from another mother.. Yes, that was indeed the ultimate perk. That and coming up in the toilet to your own tune knowing you have half a month to finish before the last 16
Oh you think this is good, check out the other - no other love, then search John digweed, Paul oakenfold, Danny rampling, best for last Sasha - radio 1 essential mixes all there studio or live mid 90s
I didn't used to like the mid 1990s EDM at first, I preferred 2010s house music and early 2000s atmospheric trance but ive been slowly listening to older and older tracks and this is a reason why ive grown to like older 1990s EDM

I liked some of the stuff on Jackpot but loads of it, like this one, was self indulgent, pretentious tripe.
