I walk in South Beach starting on Collins Avenue before heading over to the beachfront, famous Ocean Drive Art Deco Historic District. South Beach is famous for it's many hotels, restaurants, beach, and Art Deco architecture. Many TV shows and movies such as Miami Vice and Scarface were filmed on this portion of South Beach.

My first time in Miami Beach was on July 1968. Not all hotels had air conditioning then and my uncle's family were at the Betsy Ross Hotel which still had desk fans in their rooms in Miami with vintage 1940s steel telephone sets with dials! 😊
