I loved it as I told you yesterday. Very refreshing!! Having given it a bit of thought though, I think their planet is definitely going to be linked to the financial and staffing emergence of the First Order... There is too much of a dystopian feel to At-At planet if you look past the "perfect" 80's suburbia aesthetic. The show gives us far too many disturbing insights and details, to just depict kids living in a nice place, as a start point to a simple adventure story. I think its deeper than that. The young children are being prepped far too early for adulthood to work on a grand project (Star killer Base) in the same fashion as the communist Chinese regime. Everything is super regulated by camera head droids. There's all sorts of restricted areas. No Starships arrive or leave and virtually every vehicle is controlled by a track system. Winno had to physically bundle his chopper over that barrier to allow him into a forbidden zone.
Kids raised in a free environment want to be Astronauts, Race car Drivers, a Vet, Doctor or Nurse. Some want to join the Circus... No kid ever wanted to be a system analyst or forensic accountant!!
Re: Fake Jedi Na Wood - It seems he was the embarrassed pirate captain with the helmet on in the opening scene. I am guessing he is deliberately planted in the cell with the kids to befriend and then betray them after gathering intel about their mythical treasure planet. That’s his initial plan, anyway, but the kids warm his cold heart and he rethinks the plan and decides to protect them. Just when they’re all palsy palsy, a pirate from his old crew reveals his original plan and friendships are strained. Fake Jedi struggles to prove himself, thereby undergoing a redemption arc.
My wife and I really enjoyed watching the 2 episodes. Can’t wait to see what’s to come and how they link this to the “Mando Verse”. Also, where did you get that shirt?
@@nickmackie7743 I’m also interested to see how, if at all, this show’s story will play into everything else going on. This shirt is from a limited run of merch from the Clone Trooper Detachment of the 501st Legion costume group! Glad someone noticed the shirt! Clones are better than stormies after all
Really enjoyed the first 2 episodes, couldn’t agree more with your points on bringing in so many different aliens to this series compared to recent shows.
@@kylemaroszek2231 not sure if it was budget or an actual choice made with the previous series to not have as many aliens, but for Star Wars fans it’s noticeable. I’m really glad they added so many aliens in this series
Just good fun.
So far so good! It’s fun and I’m already hyped to see what happens next week 😁

I'd go with that CB! It's getting far too intricate and interesting for a D+ show already!! And you are right about Disney Suits!! 😃 😀 😄
