      Indeed, the original seats were just too basic. In hindsight, I might have added some more other cockpit detail, but it least it looks acceptable at an arm's length distance.

      As stated in the vid it was done with soft-pastel powder and not with an airbrush. My airbrush-handling still lacks that level of subtlety..

    Encore une magnifique réalisation. le Super Sabre est le plus beau (et de loin!) chasseur des "Century fighters". Ce kit a une nouvelle fois été réalisé de façon magistrale. C'est toujours avec un très grand plaisir que je regarde vos vidéos! Amitiés, Stéphane.

      L'Armée de l'Air utilisait aussi des F-100. J'ai vu des photos d'un avion très coloré avec une bouche de requin.

      @KitKabinet Ces F100 étaient basés à Djibouti. Ils furent remplacés tardivement par des Mirage 3.😊

    Great job , not much choice in 1/72 supersabres , i remember esci had a decent one , i have a frog one in stash wich is the hasegawa tool.

      This is the Esci under a different label. It is still sold by Italeri at a typically high price for a 45 year old mould. As this video proves, it is a very nice model.

      As stated by @lllordllloyd, it is indeed the same as the ESCI kit. The Italeri kit however is based on the same moulds and very similar, but not exactly 100% the same.
      As for the price; this one came from a second-hand site for €10,-. Not a bad deal imho!.
