1/72 Revell P-47D Thunderbolt (bubbletop) ~ build and reveal

This Revell P-47D Thunderbolt and was made for the WW2 Group Build hosted by Rob BasicModelling. The P-47D-30 kit version was converted back into a P-47D-25-RE.
The decals for 'Hairless Joe' came from Microscale sheet number 72-148.

Brilliant !How did you cast crankcase ? Mould ( ‘Oyumaru’?) and white metal?

The crankcase was made using 'Delft clay casting method'; I got the moulds from a friend when he finished his jewelry making course.
