The absolute happiness it gives me to see one of my favorite Pokemon, Misdreavus essentially sweep the champion AND the post game Steven battle is unreal. This was by far one of my most favorite and clutch monotype nuzlockes I've seen. Go Myrtle!
In gen 3 the AI thinks of Rock Tomb as a speed control move rather than a damaging move. As soon as your pokemon is slower than theirs they will de-prioritize using Rock Tomb
FlygonHG personally tested this theory, and it seems like the move IS treated like a regular move if it's supereffective. That's MY observation, at least, cuz he did it on his Bug type challenge of Emerald...
Hey, Silph, I dunno if anyone has mentioned it, but Roxanne is programmed to use Rock Tomb specifically for speed control - meaning, once you're slower than the Geodudes and Nosepass, they'll switch to their other moves exclusively. Hope that helps with the confusion.
9:25 you don't need to buy a harbour mail in Slateport City, you could also just go into the mystery house on the route above. The first riddle there has a harbour mail laying around

I was so locked in at the end. Sableye is one of my favorite Pokemon besides Charizard. I yelled out "NOOOO!" when it got KO'd. I understand it's a Nuzlock, but I wanted you to revive it so much. Sableye is a boss.
At first I was like it's over no way Myrtle gets to Wallace, and she does. Then I'm like no way Myrtle even comes to close to beating Wallace the run is over, you did what you could, then she won. Finally, I sat back in my chair knowing that Myrtle had no chance against the Steel monster that is Steven so I assumed you wouldn't even try to battle him, then my jaw nearly hit the floor as I watched the ending. Myrtle and you are goated nuzlockers, well done!
Hey silph, just a requested nuzlocke i would like to see, water types only in pokémon leaf green, leaf green because of game exclusive encounters, it won’t be that difficult for you i hope, but it should be fun to watch. 🙏❤️

That Sheer Cold luck reminds of the Ground type team I did in Sapphire years before I knew about Nuzlockes but the number of Sheer Colds her Walrain got on u reminded of the amount she got on me in that run

Ghost is personally my favorite type ever introduced, I was sad early on when there was so few ghost that were viable, now we have crazy good ones like special attackers like Chandelure

The first iteration of the Trick House doesn't have Harbor Mail. The second, the one you unlock after you beat Wattson, does
