Greta video my man. I love how it goes from dumb kid things to a dark elder god that possesses your subconscious
Thank you bro
WENDIGOON 😩😩😩😩😩😩
Both of you guys are awesome, thanks for all the good content, it’s gotten me through some shitty times
My man, didn't expect to see you pop up out of nowhere like this
It is da very Greta
POV wendigoon introduces you to a great youtuber.
Facts
one of the scariest moments of my childhood was when i realized if a monster or murderer was in my room, that blanket wasn't going to do shit.
TRUE😭
That reminds me of a episode from a show called Robot Chicken, in one clip there are these two monsters that are about to scare this kid in his bed, but the kid quickly hides under the blanket, one of the monster's tells the other that they can't do anything now because the rules are that if the kid is under the blanket, they can't scare him. Which is why they immediately pull out baseball bats and start beating the shit out of the kid, effectively killing him
I was scared of the toilet flushing too, not even at night tho I’d be at school doing the same quickly wash hands and run out of the room technique lol
Haha, nice. I thought I was weird for doing that lol
Hahahah me too!
Dude, the 16+ warnings always freaked me out and they still kind of resonate with me. Like, "WARNING: viewer discretion advised" notifications make me super uneasy and paranoid more so than the actual content itself does.
Same
SAME
My brother was scared of the censor bar as a kid because our mother told him that things which aren't supposed to be seen lie behind the bar so he was scared of it.
@@DD-kc6hg LMAOOO that’s so funny to me, I hope he’s healed from that
@@amarawillows3054 Yeah he did
I WAS AFRAID OF FLUSHING THE TOILET AT NIGHT TOO! I thought I was the only one. My child brain rationale was I was scared it would "wake up" spirits, like alert them I wasn't under the armor of blankets.
Pffft same.
Pffft, imagine not bringing blanket to the toilet
That wasn’t me but that seems scary for you
if not the sound the smells would surely wake em up
me toooooo omfg
You can’t trust ppl who hang limbs off the bed.
I was told a campfire story about a woman who would let her arm hang off the bed and she would let her dog lick her fingers cause it helped her fall asleep, I won’t finish the rest but yea, since then I stopped
@@thetalkingjshow8797 no please finish
@@g0zuu
I temember it finished something like this:
One night when she is home alone she dows the same thing again, but when she wakes up she finds her dog dead and someone wrote with its blood "Murderers can lick hands, too"
@@counterfeit1148 that’s disturbing
Yeah, especially if the limb isn't even theirs.
Truly marvellous editing for someone so underrated!
Thanks man, appreciate it!
Oh my God not only is Dad wendigoon featured, part of the internet historian is in here. This is great 👍
Thanks my guy
Daddy Wendigoon >_
Jeff the Killer scared me so badly as a child. I remember not wanting to sleep because I thought he was going to break into my house and kill me-
The creepypasta that stuck with me was smile dog. I still don't like it.
Ya same but now i love creepypastas and im kinda used to seeing the jeff the killer face so its not bad for me anymore.
I saw the jumpscare once with headphones with the volume at MAX and after that i didn't use a single computer for like a year
@@flansillon4586 Can completely relate to you on this, but I had it on speakers on max volume in the middle of the night in a pitch black living room
Gurl I thought he was hot 🤐✋
No way you got wendigoon too my two favourite iceberg youtubers.
Daddy Wendigoon is everywhere now
You can't escape him
Fun Fact: No Face from Spirited Away inspired the Halloween Trickster from Gravity Falls’ Halloween Special Summerween.
That‘s a cool fun fact, I love that show.
"which leads them to being scared by things that aren't even scary" - *flashes Megan is missing*
Honestly that made me laugh harder than I should of.
GOD FINALLY SOMEONE TALKS ABOUT SPONGEBOB. When I was a kid I developed a fear of darkness because of the night light episode. We could write a long list of Spongbob scary moments but for me the worst was the ending of Best Frenemies. What the hell was that
I remember seeing one where they were trapped in the Flying Dutchman's boat and I don't even remember the last scene but it terrified me because it implied that they were in that ship forever
Also when I was a kid I was afraid with the concept of obsession and watching Squidward in the errands episode didn't help lol
Oh yeah I remember the one with the flying dutchman. That scene was definitely unsettling.
Dude the episode where squidward leaves spongebob alone at the krusty crab to run errands also got to me like crazy!
Edit: oh my god, that episode where they fucking kill a guy and bury him in the middle of nowhere! I forgot about that one....
That pig scene from Spitited Away scared the shit out of me as well! I was watching it at a friend's house and had to go home right afterwards and watch Disney's Tangled as a palette cleanser. That scene BROKE me for weeks. Even now looking at it now makes me cringe.
I think I might have found the commercial with that snowman you were looking for it's the Nestea Snowman commercials where the snowman becomes the skeleton but drinks Nestea to turn himself back to the snowman here's the link to the commercials: ua-cam.com/video/KRfXDLiO3AM/v-deo.html I hope that helps!
Thanks man. Someone on my discord just sent me this too. This might actually be it. I'm not a 100% sure though.
@@Scrabbl Here’s another one but it’s a commercial for soup, and snowman melts and turns into a child ua-cam.com/video/I2ICzdBH0yY/v-deo.html
I was fascinated with Creepypastas as a kid, and a couple really freaked me out. One was that classic one about Nintendogs, where the narrator found their old DS and turned it on to see most of their dogs dead, with the one left that ate the others. 0.o
Straight up, I remember a time when the Jeff the Killer image scared me so bad, I was legitimately afraid of closets. Like, I'd be paranoid to move clothes, or open the door, just imagining him hiding there (I think I was like 12 at time, so don't judge me).
me too holy shit
I was scared of opening room doors bc I was scared of something scary was behind. As a kid my mom teached me how to open our house door (it was an old door so it was a little hard to open) and one day I came to home but my mom was still in school (teacher) I tried to open the door but whenever I was trying to turn the key I imagined something waiting for me to open the door and I started crying and walking all the way to my moms school. I was embrassed to tell her I scared of that so I just told her I couldn't open the door and she showed me again. I don't know why I told about this right know lmao
@@cemre7218 i used to be scared of a gps
Honestly, I was never afaird of Jeff The killer, mainly because he is just some guy with a knife.
From 6 years old to 10 it got me everytime
Could the commercial be the old campbells soup commercial they use in winter with the snowman? He melts into a boy at the dinner table.
No, that‘s not the one. Some other people sent me a Nestea commercial, that actually might be the one. But I‘m not sure.
Lol oh hey! I also listened to music (or stories) to fall asleep as a kid. I had a little tape player, and a few tapes. Some had Winnie The Pooh stories on them, and two had music. I usually listened to the stories. It was my 1 hour of freedom from the crushing silence and imminent threat from imaginary monsters.
The Valve guy turns around in Portal 2 I think as well. When I replayed that game recently it actually caught me so off guard, it genuinely scared me. 😂
I remember watching my cousins play Majora's Mask when I was a kid, but I would always leave whenever the moon appeared. It haunted my childhood for years! lol
Spirited Away is actually a really good movie , probably one of my favorites lol. Great video!
I don't like anime, usually. But Ghibli movies are an exception. Spirited Away is amazing. ❤
Took so long to make wendigoons sub counts doubled all the way to 2 subscribers.
you’re honestly hilarious, i genuinely haven’t laughed out loud while watching youtube videos in a long while. i hope to see more of you, your style and delivery is great
Thank you, glad you feel that way. New video is coming tommorow :)
Dumb thing I was scared of. Squash flowers
My mom grew them in the back yard. They always reminded me of that fucking flower from Jumanji. Fuck that flower.
Childhood Trauma Explained [Feat. my... mother... :( ]
oh yeah fun fact; sections of 1999 were plagiarized from Alantutorial unfortunately
Tbh the outros of alot shows sketched me out too the tone n the blankness of the visuals etc
Maybe cuz it changes tone rly quick no jokes no spongebob or w.e. ever show just music and names mehh...
Ben Drowned is the best video game creepypasta...because of the videos and the ARG and it felt real at the time..it was so detailed
i love to see our dad starring on smaller channels 😍 tho i actually was subscribed to yours as well lol
This is way funnier than I expected, the whole pissing at night speedrun bit made me legitimately laugh out loud.
I also remember my rarted child brain made me be afraid of the toilet because my grandmother once told me how if I keep spending so much time on the toilet (I was gaming on a psp) I might poop out my intestines. She also once tried to discourage me from biting my nails by telling me that my fingers will get infected and the doctor will have to give me injections under my nails to treat them.
Sitting here at midnight and I open up youtube to see that goddam Jeff the Killer image. Thanks man
My pleasure
Idk why but the "it scared the shit outta me" paired with the edit was hilarious. *chef's kiss*
you need 100k subs
YES dude Borrasca and 1999 are so fucking sick
1999 100% has stuck with me from when i first read it YEARS ago to right now, its so weird hearing people talk about it KDFHGLKDHJFG
Whaaaiiit a second you know super rtl but you arent german?
And btw i know this commercial you talked about but not really vivid and i thought the snowman was on like a sunny hill or something
I’m confused too 💀
I just found your channel. You’re super underrated man, you’re definitely gonna blow up soon.
Great Video! Amazing editing! Soo cool to see European-youtubers cover that kind of stuff. Keep going my dude, greetings from Germany 🙌🏻
Thank you! Glad you like it!
I don’t think Creepy Pastas existed when I was a kid. I was born 1994.
Welp, I was born a little later and I grew up with the internet, so there's that
Dude, that fucking Smile Dog creepypasta has haunted me for the past 10 years.... The story is cliche', and the picture shouldn't be creepy in any way. And yet the oversaturation is unsettling.
Borrasca was absolutely horrifying and when I read it, I was horrified. A really good creepypasta.
I used to fear the logo of a tv channel. It would come to kill my relatives in my dreams. And there were songs that spooked me, most of which were air conditioner advertisement tunes. Yeah I was naturally high af I guess.
i dont remember anything about spirited away either but i know that it freaked me out
HE"S BACK! one of my favorite youtubers!
Yeah, but Ben drowned is the best of the video game ones. It has a cult, an unreliable narrator, mystery and more.
Yeah Ben Drowned gets a pass, since it‘s one of the first videogame creepypastas and all the others were created because of it.
Why i was around 8 in 2010, Jeff the killer was the scariest shit ever
Less than a minute in and the editing is so amazing that I’m already subscribing. I love the new group of conspiracy horror shit youtubers.
Also if anyone remembers Happy Appy.... yeah... I was terrified of it. I reread it the other night. Wow. WOW. I was a fucking wimp. And all the standard terrible creppypastas terrified me. I feel like Russian Sleep Experiment stands the test of time. It’s still creepy and not 100% unbelievable. But NES Godzilla is actually still pretty well written, that one where there’s a bunch of kids who are made eternal kids and that turns out to be Link (can’t remember the name but Someordinarygamers read it). There were some gems.
Ain't no way I can finish this video after reading Borascca for the first time god damn
Dude I absolutely love your editing style and transitions. Awesome video!
Thanks my man
When i was really young like 4-6 i came across one episode of Winnie the Pooh in which Piglet left Winnie. I don't remember it in details, but it was one scene, in which was really cold, snowy winter and Winnie thought, that Piglet came back, because there was a pile of snow in his door similar to Piglet's shape.
He took it home and when it melted he started to cry, because his best friend was dying or vanishing...? Idk
It wasn't creepy, but just really depressing.
I found it!

Hearing half life music at 15:18 was such a lovely surprise
hold up other people did the weird night toilet race ??? lol my family still bullies me about it till this this day
I was so excited to see a new video from you after the thought exeriment iceberg, and you definitely delivered here!
No joke, I share the same childhood traumas with you 😭 Especially the one with "not suitable for children under 16" only that screen would scare me and I think I remember the melting snowman aswell
Love the vids man
The Jeff the killer face spooked the fuuuuck outta me ~5 years ago. I was 2 years tired cause of bad med dosing and unmedicated anxiety, and that was just something that irrationally spooped me 😶
I went to watch borrosca the second he said scariest hes heard, now im back!
you love too see it
Wow men, i was here before your 1 million subs
I used to do toilet race too hahha
I though only i was that weird but no
This was such an awesome video to chill and watch. There were a good amount of things that I was scared of too like the spongebob outro. The Editing was so awesome and the jokes were hilarious. I can’t wait to see more of your videos!
Thank you! New video coming soon :)
Heyyy wendigoon sent me here, like your style and humour!! Subscribed!
Thank you! Appreciate it :)
The chick from the exorcist kept me awake for 3 years
I was scared of flashing the toilet at night too. I don't know why, I always thought, what if someone broke in while I was in the bathroom. It's so quiet at night that the sound of the house settling sounds loud enough for me to think it's an intruder. So I was scared to flush the toilet and alert them. I would wash my hands first and then flush the toilet to run to my room lol
Oh and the Spongebob ending song too. It didn't like scare me but it made me uncomfortable, like anxious or something for no reason
I remember reading "Bedtime" (I think that's what it was called), it had multiple parts and I remember it as a fairly good story. It's one of the scariest creepypastas I remember reading, although it could just be that I don't remember it right and it's not a good story.
There was also one about a group going camping and there is always one less of a thing than people in the group and it turns out that there was something disguising as an extra person in the group and that's why there wasn't enough stuff.
The first time I heard about SCPs I didn't pay attention at the start of the video where it said that it's fictional and was scared when the video showed a picture of 096, played the sound of that one cowbell and talked about a fly-like thing that puts its eggs inside you and the babies come out through every opening. When I saw 173's picture I thought it was from some random persons basement, which kind of made it scarier since that meant it was still out there. I also remember an SCP that paralyses you and eats whatever limb is hanging off the side of the bed.
MATE I just read Bedtime because of this comment and it's hands down the best creepypasta I've ever read. The way it's written, and the plot to some extent, reminds me of old Victorian gothic novels. It feels like a story of childhood bogeyman I've heard before, but told in a way that made it completely new and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Damn, thanks for the recommendation
Penpals is the name of the series, originally on Nosleep
19:40 LMAO I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO EVER DID THAT WOW
dude im still freaked out by jeff the killer, that picture really stuck with me for months after reading that for the first time, the only consolation i had was that he lived in america and i was a mexican kid all the way south, so he couldnt possibly get to me lmao
Love the editing in this video, thrilled to see what else you make
Thank you, happy to hear that!
Baby scrabble being afraid of everything is the cutest shit I’ve ever seenn😩♥️
Bruh I would watch spongebob to sleep and the spongebob outro made me shit myself every night when I would wake up
Oof glad I‘m not the only one!
Nice joke. I don't like Spongebob, but my cousins wanted me to watch it with them anyway a few years back, since the earlier episodes are supposed to be better. One of the ones we saw was Graveyard Shift. I love the little goober that wanted to work there. I wish he would've returned. But I get why the Nosferatu part would scare kids.
We're all grown, btw. XD
Duuuude, this vid was amazing! You’re crazy talented and freaking hilarious, I love it! It’s a definite sub for me. 🤗
Thank you so much!
he turns around
iirc Portal 2 has the dude turning to greet us
Oh damn you're right, completely forgot about that. But still, we can't really recognize his face
@@Scrabbl you know it'd be really funny if we found out that is just CeeLo Green
I laughed so hard. Thanks for the content.
0:30 That picture is honestly really cool.
I can relate to having music in the dark, even though I was never scared of it. Heck, I still sleep with a light on at 26, because it's soothing, and colorful. I'm not ashamed.
So, i am VERY late to this party bash, but two things from my childhood freaked me out so much that i still have lasting fears;
Not only was I afraid of the dark, i was terrified by EAS tones. Something about the robotic, flat tone that came on my TV and lit the room up with bright white text flashing before my eyes at 2 am just terrified me. And, the Sharpteeth from land before time
Wendigoon!
Wooowww, it was the most that I have laughed since 2015, when you mentioned the plant thing, I had the same thing with but with fake plants at an apartment we lived in from 2008 to 2010, where everytime I stare at the plant, because it made a weird flutter sound like locusts were in it.
Fun Fact, the same plant is above me on the window while I am on my pc now, so that's cool, to keep the memory of how stupid and foolish I was to be afraid of it also, no offense.
God bless!!
Okay so when I was a kid, there was something that would rustle under my bed every night until I moved just slightly. I was convinced it was a mouse (or a frog that disappeared from it's cage once) since it was a wreck under there, so I cleaned under it really well convinced it would stop whatever was rustling. It sounded like crinkling plastic, so I thought I'd made a logical conclusion. Nope, whatever the fuck it was, it wasn't a mouse because even when it was absolutely spotless under my bed it would rustle around, and occasionally thump until I moved enough to shake the bed. My bed was like 7-8 inches off the ground. I used to pull the covers up off the edges and keep my limbs towards the center and constantly shift just to be able to fall asleep without terror. Still have no idea what it was. I moved rooms and it never happened again. Also never found a mouse in there. Or the frog.
Through the Trees is still my favorite creepy pasta I think it holds up decently
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT WAS SCARED OF THE CREDITS TO SPONGEBOB it wasnt scary but it always felt like someone was watching me
oh my fucking god it's my two favourite small youtubers (i guess wendigoon no longer applies tho lmao) collabing
Weeping Angles. HOLY FLYING FUCK I HAD NIGHTMARES FOR 4 YEARS STRAIGHT. I have never slept whithout having my blanket over my head for all those years. No matter the weather or season.
Something Barely anyone here probably was scared or heard of but scared me was that Red Mist Level In LittleBigPlanet
14:53 WAIT IM NOT THE ONLY ONE AFRAID OF THE WND SCREEN?!?
To this day I still get uncomfortable listening to it
I immediately thought of the Cambles melting snowman commercial, I can see that being scary if you're a kid, thinking all the snowmen you see have a kid like you inside them. Are you going to be put in a snowman?
I remember: when I was like 5 or 6 I lived at a small apartment and I had a little brother the thing is I had to rooms. I wake up AND I SEE A MOSTER I was like: BRO, BRO GET UP I see saw it since I was the older one I ran and turn on the light with my toy gun and toy sword. And I ran to get water to see if it moved well. 2 years after this I saw an article that stated: "your brain is tricking you to see stuff that wasn't there" I was like "damn" ok, and SINCE THAT DAY I would punch it or SLAM THE LIVING S*** OUT OF IT
Wow, long story I hope you liked it :)
I am a year late, but glad I fell onto your channel!!! I'm liking your content so far. Plus, it's always super fun when bigger creators collab with growing channels; Goon genuinely seems like a fantastic guy behind the screen, and it seems harder to find creators like that!
Pro7: Die folgende Sendung ist nicht für Zuschauer unter 16 geeignet!
That‘s it!
10:12 I READ THAT OMFG that is seriously the only ever creepy pasta that has EVER scared me that fucked me up so bad i hated it. no creepy pasta has ever ever done that to me i had no idea and it caught me so off guard i just started sobbing and i wanted to throw up, i wasnt even like little or anything i think i was like 14-15
Ok I STILL do not dangle my limbs off my bed at night. I mean, who does that?? Somebody who wants their limbs ripped off?
Everyone is scared of some random specific thing(s), thanks for sharing yours, and all the other traumas! However, I totally did the same thing with the toilet! Although I wasn't scared of it, just hated loud noises and liked excuses to race things ;D
Wendigoon told us to come over and say, “hi!” So this is that…”hi!”
I will make another comment once I’ve actually watched the video. ❤️
Borrasca stuck with me so much, I read it when I was like 12. I don't think I read all the way to the very very end until I re-read it when I was 14. But it was fucking creepy and screwed up, especially living in a small town with multiple old mines n shit around. Any time one of the Mills would make noise, I'd get freaked out thinking it was coming from the mines in the mountains. Oh and I lived right near a highway KNOWN for having high rates of kidnapping young women... And at the time I was (seen as) a young woman. I was Scared to exist :).
Now I'm 19 and I grew up to love fucked up twisted horror.
Was no one else traumatized by THUMB WARS!? The Star Wars parody!? I’m basically fucked for life now
Related to the “16+ Viewer Warning”, Cartoon Network’s movie night intro used to freak me out. I think it played before CN would show any movies, but I’m not certain. Anyway, I remember exactly what it was like. It was a dark gray background with the abstract elevated surfaces they used in like the early 2010s and white letters that showed the movie rating and the name of the movie placed to either the left or right of the screen while a deep, quiet remix of the CN theme played in the back. I’m sure it’s not creepy now, but god it freaked me out the first time I saw it.
I found the snowman comercial -here write this : 1993 Campbells Soup "Melting Snowman" TV Commercial
I remember an episode of Animaniacs where this old woman was beating one of the Goodfeathers, (Mafioso pigeons), and she called it 'Nosferatu'. Heckin' hilarious.
