Sharon's been in Eastenders too long now though, as has Phil. They probably won't ever leave as they're more or less the only older cast members apart from Ian and Dot that they haven't killed off already.
sharon was written better back then, they had her more dominant and gutsy. Recent years she has been too passive and the gangster's wife type.
