Perhaps the desk should be in the oppisite corner and if we can get a single bed and face rotate it 90 degrees to the left and the wardrobe would be where the desk is in the animation
One design question… from an Architecture Student. The wardrobe placement it’s fine but the functionality of that isn’t great. Imagine having to climb on your bed to get clothes… but small spaces have design problems. This was an good solution. Well done.

If you are living alone and will not be entertaining overnight, look into a split queen. Each half is only 30 inches wide instead of 39 inches (twin bed is 39”). I built a custom 3 sided box that with foam is tall enough to slide sterilite tubs underneath for storage. Foot end has blanket shelf over it and another shelf above that. It gives back nine inches to make the room seem wider. I did have to custom build the mattress of layers of foam, starting with a dense upholstery foam and a few layers of gel memory foam zipped into a mattress protector bag. Sleeps great.

Nice storage for a small space but I'd feel claustrophobic without some furniture off the ground or some breathing room between objects for that airy feel. Like cabriole legs or a higher bed frame. I'd rather sacrifice items for mood and aesthetics.

I would turn the bed in the opposite direction and mount a TV on that wall . The bed could be up against the closet with low pillows. Then you'd have that whole wall to use for television and art.

Having a study tabls near window is much better. Also with time all this plywood work detoriates. If no proper ventilation or light in room. It gives weird smell due to dampness. I miss old days when shelves and overhead shelves were made during construction. They were more sturdy. Or just buy some good storage furnitures. Sometimes we just care too much about looks.
